A cloning unit is able to clone or duplicate the proprietary wireless signal, and to replay it or re-generate it in response to a triggering command that a user submitted via a smartphone or tablet; thereby enabling to control such garage door system via mobile electronic devices. The cloning unit utilizes recording of the wireless signal payload and carrier frequency; wireless signal analysis; image analysis of the appliance or of the remote control unit; queries to a remote server to obtain properties of the proprietary wireless signal; or other techniques of signal analysis or duplication.

The electronic device comprises a first communication unit, a second communication unit, and a processor for performing control such that the second communication unit operates in a scan state in which an undirected advertising packet can be received when a preset IR signal is received from a remote control device through the first communication unit, acquiring identification information of a target device from the undirected advertising packet when the undirected advertising packet is received from the remote control device in the scan state, and providing a user interface (UI) for guiding a Bluetooth connection with remote control device when the acquired identification information of a target device matches identification information of the electronic device.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer program product for enabling multi-point shunt calibration of a sensor device. Multi-point shunt calibration provides at least a first, second, and third simulated calibration output, each simulated calibration output corresponding to an actual reading value and an expected reading value. The simulated calibration outputs are associated with a predefined output sequence, where each simulated calibration output is separated from an adjacent simulated calibration output by an output step size. Some embodiments are configured for automatically outputting each simulated calibration output for a particular period of time before outputting an adjacent simulated calibration output in the predefined output sequence. The various simulated calibration outputs, actual reading values, and/or expected values may be used in determining calibrated reading values for the sensor device.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer program product for enabling multi-point shunt calibration of a sensor device.
