INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processing device includes a communication unit configured to communicate with a measurement equipment mounted on a competitor who participates in a competition, and a traffic regulation compliance determination unit configured to correct a time of the competition when determining, based on the positional information of the measurement equipment, that the competitor is complying with a traffic regulation stopping the competitor from proceeding while the competitor is prohibited from proceeding.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ROUTE PLANNING BASED ON ROAD SAFETY METRICS
Embodiments described herein provide for the generation of models, which may predict or otherwise model road safety conditions. For example, embodiments may determine attributes of roads and/or segments of roads based on sensor data, statistical data, and/or other suitable data to determine road safety models associated with the roads or road segments. Such models may be used when determining navigation routes, controlling autonomous vehicles, city planning, and/or other suitable operations that may take road safety into account.

Traffic light assembly
A traffic light assembly is disclosed with red, amber and green lights. While light is being emitted, a flashing sequence pattern is generated within the area to enhance the meaning of the signal communicated to the driver. The sequence pattern is formed by changing the colour of light emitted, and or by ceasing to emit light. An intermediate pattern that is different in configuration from any of the sequence patterns is provided at a transition between at least one of the red, amber and green lights to further communicate to the driver that the light signal is about to change and that action is about to be required.

Emergency vehicle notification system
An emergency vehicle notification system, including at least one illumination device disposed on at least a portion of a traffic light to illuminate at least one illumination setting, and a control unit removably disposed within and removably connected to an emergency vehicle to change the at least one illumination setting in response to changing an operation status using an alert signal.
PROJECTION ALERTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES AND RELATED METHODS
A system for alerting motorists travelling on a roadway in a vicinity of a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes one or more projector units, and a respective attachment structure for each of the one or more projector units for attaching the projector units to a portion of the vehicle. The one or more projector units are configured and arranged to project a light signal on to at least a portion of the roadway adjacent the vehicle and in a travel path of the motorist. The one or more projector units include at least one light flare projector unit and/or at least one signage projector unit. A school bus incorporating the system is also disclosed. A method for alerting motorists travelling on a roadway in the vicinity of a vehicle is also disclosed.

System to warn a motorist of the presence of a pedestrian in a crosswalk at a traffic intersection
A system to warn a motorist of the presence of a pedestrian in a crosswalk at a traffic intersection includes at least one standard traffic signal configured for directing motorists through the traffic intersection. At least one standard walk light is included and configured for directing pedestrians for use on the crosswalk at the traffic intersection. At least one additional pedestrian warning signal is also included and configured to face the motorists. Each of the at least one additional pedestrian warning signals is in communication with the at least one standard traffic signal and the at least one standard walk light. Wherein, each of the at least one additional pedestrian warning signals is configured to warn the motorist of a certain presence of the pedestrian at the traffic intersection who are either about to cross or already crossing the traffic intersection.
