Personal item management apparatus
An embodiment personal item management apparatus includes a wearable band having a fixed circumference that defines a first outer diameter; and a clasp coupled to the wearable band, the clasp having a second outer diameter that is less than the first outer diameter and being adapted to couple a personal item to the wearable band. In an exemplary embodiment, the ratio of the second outer diameter to the first outer diameter is about 0.4.
Bag for personal items
A flexible, two-part bag. The bag has a first outer section for containing common toiletry items, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, etc., including a small shovel, clean toilet paper, or package of moist wipes etc. The walls of the first outer section are preferably of transparent material or netting material to enable viewing of the contents. A second center section, formed inside the first outer section, and extending slightly above the first section, enables the contents of the sections to be separated, such that the bag forms at least two compartments.
Pack
A pack may include a main compartment to extend along a back of a person wearing the pack, wherein the main compartment has a front side to extend proximate the back of the person and a rear side to extend distant the back of the person. The pack may include left and right compression panels and a main compartment cinching system. The left and right compression panels extend along the left and right sides of the person, respectively, to the rear side of the main compartment. The compartment cinching system has left and right cinch cords and left and right cinch cord retainers located along left and right sides of the person, respectively, when the pack is worn. The left or right cinch cords are pullable to concurrently compress the main compartment and cinch the left and right compression panels about a torso of the person.
Devices and methods for enhancing the fit of boots and other footwear
A closure system for a boot or other footwear includes a tension member that is disposed within the boot and routed or guided about a path within the boot via one or more guides. The closure system also includes an adjustment member that is disposed within the boot and operably coupled with the tension member. The closure system further includes a reel based closure device having a knob that is operable to tension the tension member and to release tension from the tension member. Tensioning of the tension member adjusts a fit of the adjustment member about a foot within the boot to secure the foot within the boot and loosening of the tension member adjusts the fit of the adjustment member about the foot to allow the foot to be more easily removed from the boot.
PACK
A pack may include a main compartment to extend along a back of a person wearing the pack, wherein the main compartment has a front side to extend proximate the back of the person and a rear side to extend distant the back of the person. The pack may include left and right compression panels and a main compartment cinching system. The left and right compression panels extend along the left and right sides of the person, respectively, to the rear side of the main compartment. The compartment cinching system has left and right cinch cords and left and right cinch cord retainers located along left and right sides of the person, respectively, when the pack is worn. The left or right cinch cords are pullable to concurrently compress the main compartment and cinch the left and right compression panels about a torso of the person.
Hair tool case
Systems and devices for the safe storage and transport of hair styling equipment is provided via a hair tool case. The hair tool case protects hair tools, and their power cords, from damage during storage and stowing. The hair tool case has a plurality of sleeves to that are configured to hold styling tools, along with a plurality of straps to affix the tools in place within the sleeves. The hair tool case can further have a series of cable clips, to clip the power cords in place, and a plurality of hooks to hold the power tools. A flap can be provided to cover the power cords, and the case is configured to have the flaps envelop the cables, and have the sleeves fold onto the flaps to provide protection to all of the styling tools.
Apparatus and methods for carrying footwear
An apparatus for carrying foldable footwear that comprises a drawstring pouch having a side pocket that reversibly adjusts between undrawn and drawn states. When undrawn, the pouch is characterized by an opening at the top of the pouch that is dimensioned and configured for receiving a pair of foldable shoes in an interior of the pouch. When drawn, the pouch is characterized by a drawstring arranged on the upper portion sealing off the opening, thereby concealing the interior of the pouch. The apparatus further comprises a collapsible tote bag removably inserted in the side pocket, where the tote bag is configured to reversibly convert between unfolded and folded states. When unfolded, the tote bag is characterized by an interior portion that receives a pair of unfolded shoes, where the interior portion further includes a storage pocket. When folded, the tote bag is completely contained within the second pocket.
Container for medical items and disposable waste
A container has a sheet of one or more first flexible materials; a seam around a circumference of the sheet; a cinch tie enclosed within the seam and exposed at each of at least two notches in the seam on opposite sides of the sheet; and a barrier flap of a second flexible material secured to a first side of the sheet along a line that includes the center of the sheet, wherein the barrier flap is configured to divide an interior space of the container into a first compartment and a second compartment when the container is closed, and wherein the barrier flap is configured to be further secured at a location on the first side of the sheet proximal to the circumference; wherein the cinch tie is configured to close the container by drawing the seam shut when pulled out through the at least two notches.
THREE WAY CONVERTIBLE CONTAINMENT DEVICE
A containment device that converts between three different configurations or forms and includes a multilayer base. The forms include: 1) a mat or work surface that has a raised lip or edge structure that contains items on the mat or work surface; 2) a small volume bag or flexible container for holding the items inside, where the lip is gathered or compacted, e.g., by a drawstring, to form an annulus from the lip; and 3) a larger-volume, cylindrical-shaped bag, which may be used as a shopping bag. The cylindrical-shaped bag may be stored between the layers of the base when the device is in the mat configuration or the drawstring bag configuration, and the lip may be stored between the layers of the base when the device is in the cylindrical-shaped bag configuration.
