Providing users with access to routes for traveling

Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.

The present disclosure relates to an information processing system, an information processing method, and an information processing apparatus that are capable of diagnosing sensor degradation.

A recognition result of a predetermined recognition target based on results of sensing performed by a plurality of sensors mounted in a vehicle is acquired, the acquired recognition result is compared with another recognition result different from the acquired recognition result so that a comparison result is output, and performance degradation of each sensor is evaluated on the basis of the comparison result. The present disclosure can be applied to mobile structures.

Vehicle parking monitoring systems and methods

Vehicle parking monitoring systems and methods are disclosed herein. An example method can include receiving images from a camera of a parking spot, each of the images being time stamped, determining presence of a vehicle in the images, placing a bounding area around a region of interest of the vehicle, the region of interest including no personally identifiable information, retaining the bounding area and discarding a remainder of the images, and determining when the vehicle is no longer present based on a change in the bounding area of the images.

AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE FOR POWER LOSS EVENTS

A processing system including at least one processor may detect a loss of power event for a managed area, where the managed area includes a plurality of infrastructure elements that rely upon electric power grid power, and where the plurality of infrastructure elements provides a plurality of infrastructure services. The processing system may then identify at least one vehicle that is capable of providing at least one of the plurality of infrastructure services, where the at least one vehicle comprises an autonomous vehicle, and transmit an instruction to the at least one vehicle to deploy to a location of at least one of the plurality of infrastructure elements to provide the at least one of the plurality of infrastructure services.

NETWORK-BASED VEHICLE TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM
20230141273 · 2023-05-11 ·

A feature-rich, improved vehicle traffic signal control system that uses network technology is provided herein. For example, the improved vehicle traffic signal control system may include a control box and light heads that include processors. The control box in the improved vehicle traffic signal control system may include fewer components and/or fewer wires extending therefrom as compared to a typical control box. In particular, the control box in the improved vehicle traffic signal control system may not include relays, a conflict monitor, or other similar components. Rather, the improved control box may simply include a controller that is coupled to various light heads via Ethernet cables. The Ethernet cables can carry electrical power, thereby providing power to the light heads. The light head processors can use network technology to control light activation, to perform conflict monitoring, to receive data from various sensors to adjust traffic flow, etc.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING INTERSECTION MISSING TRAFFIC RESTRICTION INFORMATION, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The disclosure provides a method for determining an intersection missing traffic restriction information and an electronic device. The method includes: obtaining trajectory information corresponding to the intersection; determining a traffic anomaly occurring at the intersection based on the trajectory information; obtaining lane line information of a road section connected by the intersection; and determining the intersection missing traffic restriction information based on the lane line information.
