A locking assembly for portable containers includes at least one open shell that defines within it a compartment for accommodating objects. The shell is partially closed, in a first configuration, by at least one respective covering unit coupled to the shell and moves between two configurations for free access to the compartment. The locking assembly includes at least one lever for actuating a slider, which can be coupled to a reference outer surface of the shell or the unit. The slider moves between a first limit position, wherein it is engaged with a respective abutment coupled to the other one of the shell or the unit, arranged in the first configuration, for theft mutual locking, and second limit position, wherein the slider is distanced from the abutment to allow the transition of the covering unit between the configurations and free access to the compartment.

Container and Latching System

A container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching assemblies. The latching assembly may comprise a latch body, a locking member, a biasing member, and an activating member. Additional features of the container may include handles and strength increasing features. The base and lid may also feature attachment points for various accessories. A carry strap may attach to the base of the container to allow a user to lift and carry the container. The container may also have a wheels attached to the bottom portion and/or across the bottom portion to one side of the sidewall structure. In addition, in exemplary containers with wheels, a pull handle may be attached to a side opposite the wheels.

A suitcase structure includes a case portion having a case opening and provided with a case-side recess; a cover portion pivotally connected to the case portion to selectively close or open the case opening and provided on a cover-side transitional edge portion and a cover sidewall thereof with a cover-side recess located corresponding to the case-side recess; a latch pivotally connected to the case portion and having an end receivable in the case-side recess and another end receivable in the cover-side recess; and a retainer for retaining the other end of the latch thereto. Therefore, the latch can be located in the case-side and the cover-side recess at the same time to be flush with outer surfaces of the case portion and cover-side transitional edge portion. Therefore, the latch is avoided from colliding with external object and separating from the suitcase structure when the latter is pulled to move around.

A locking case including a base and a lid includes a latch recess integrated into an outer profile of the case, and a latch installed within the latch recess. The latch includes a latch handle including a first end, rotatably coupled with the lid, and a second end including an end protrusion configured for removably engaging with a first portion of the base. The latch also includes a passthrough feature for accommodating a lock mechanism therethrough. The latch handle is larger than the locking mechanism. The latch recess fully accommodates the latch and most or all of the lock mechanism therein when the second end of the latch handle is engaged with the first portion of the base and the lock mechanism is installed through the passthrough feature such that the latch and the lock mechanism do not substantially protrude from the outer profile of the case.

The power supply is configured to provide power to the system. The input port is configured to receive a video stream from a camera. The video converter is configured to convert the video stream from a digital signal to an analog signal. The encoder is configured to convert the video stream into a reduced bitrate digital stream having a bitrate less than or equal to 3 megabits per second. The router is configured to transmit the reduced bitrate digital stream over at least two of a plurality of communication paths simultaneously. The system is manually portable and configured to livestream the video stream to the internet in real time.

A MOG limiting device, herein described as a MOG limiter, approximates a portion of the curvilinear length of a concave. The MOG limiting device can include a connection point near the middle of a concave, slightly offset from center. A bolt, washer and nut assembly protrudes downwardly from the underside of the concave. Two assemblies are positioned in the middle of each side of the concave. The assemblies cooperate with a mounting plate on the MOG limiters to form an upper concave connection and a lower concave connection in each half of the concave. In the cross frame, insert slots are positioned to receive a hinge point located at the end of each arced member making up the frame (rail supports). The hinge points are slidably inserted into the opening and then rotated upwardly to be positioned adjacent to and in conformity with the curvature of the underside of the concave with the connection assemblies holding the MOG limiter in place.

A suitcase having a base and a lid where the lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching assemblies is disclosed. The lid may comprise an upper shell, and the base may comprise a lower shell. The upper shell and the lower shell may be seamlessly formed to create a water resistant and/or waterproof suitcase. The suitcase may have an extendable trolley handle assembly that is externally attached to the base of the suitcase using a plurality of mounting clips. The trolley handle assembly may comprise a pair of extrusion assemblies that are connected to the base of the suitcase and connected to each other by a grip. The suitcase may also have a removably secured interior liner.
