The first array and second array of openings align to form an array of light housings. Each light housing is configured to house a light (e.g., LEDs). Also disclosed herein is an interactive stringed musical instrument teaching system comprising a stringed instrument and a mobile terminal (e.g., computer). Both the smart stringed instrument and the mobile terminal are in communication via one or more communication modules. The mobile terminal comprises a microphone, a tuning module, a database, a teaching module and a game module. The stringed instrument comprises a main control module, a sound wake-up module, an LED driver module and an LED matrix module.
Method and device for training a user to sight read music
An embodiment in accordance with the present invention provides a method and system for training a student to sight-read music. The method includes displaying a measure of music having at least a first and second phrase of notes. As the student moves through the music, the phrases of notes are removed from the measure of music, in such a way to encourage the student to read ahead of the point at which she is playing. In some exercises, a focal point can be provided in order to train the student to engage the fovea for acquiring pitch information from the measure of music and the parafovea for acquiring rhythm information from the measure of music. The method can be executed on a dedicated computing device such as a tablet or in the form of an application or program for use on a number of different computing devices.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that can provide an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that can effectively assist in learning performance. The information processing device includes a sensing data obtaining section configured to obtain sensing data regarding at least one of a motion pattern, a motion speed, a motion accuracy, and a motion amount of a motion element of a user in a practice in performance performed by movement of at least a part of a body of the user and a state of a result produced by the performance, an analyzing section configured to analyze the obtained sensing data and estimate information regarding the practice in the performance of the user on a basis of a result of the analysis, and an output section configured to output a result of the estimation to the user.
A METHOD, SYSTEM, APP OR KIT OF PARTS FOR TEACHING MUSICAL RHYTHM, IN PARTICULAR PERCUSSION
Musical rhythm, is taught using a sequenced rhythm pattern, wherein a user's strike within a time window around each note maintains suppression of audible output. If a strike falls outside the time window, output resumes.
Legal Claim Exchange with Price Time Priority Queues
Various implementations directed to a legal claim exchange with price time priority queues are described herein. In one implementation, a method may include receiving claim attribute data from users for legal claims, a legal claim corresponding to a compensation claim by a respective user and the claim attribute data comprising data corresponding to a legal claim type for the legal claim, a monetary value for the legal claim, or combinations thereof. The method may also include receiving device data for the legal claims from the users, wherein the device data for the legal claim comprises data corresponding to locations associated with the legal claim. The method may further include generating a legal claim exchange for legal claim units based on the claim attribute data and the device data, wherein a legal claim unit corresponds to a contractual right to the legal claim available for purchase by the users.
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for operating a music educational tool
Embodiments herein illustrate an educational musical game. The educational musical game includes a first set of polygon tokens representing a first combination of a first set of musical notes and a first musical interval between musical notes in the first set of musical notes. Further educational musical game includes a second set of polygon tokens representing a second combination of a second set of musical notes and a second musical interval between the musical notes in the second set of musical notes. The second set of polygon tokens is configured to be coupled with the first set of polygon tokens based on one or more rules associated with the first set of musical notes and the second set of musical notes.
Systems and methods for aiding music theory comprehension
The invention provides a device for music theory comprehension. The device includes a base portion and a first stencil. The base portion includes a plurality of marks. Each mark includes indicia representing a musical note. The first stencil includes a first interior shape, wherein the first stencil and the base portion are selectively positionable relative to each other. At each of a plurality of predetermined positions determined by the plurality of marks, the first interior shape of the first stencil surrounds multiple marks. The multiple marks include indicia representing seven musical notes representing a unique chord family.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AN ADAPTIVE AND INTERACTIVE TEACHING OF PLAYING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
Embodiments of systems and methods pertain to providing a session of music learning to a user, comprising: setting a sound capturing configuration relating to at least one microphone of a computerized device; providing the user with musical notations to be executed through the user for generating user-generated sound; capturing, through the at least one microphone, sound which includes user-generated sound produced by the user to produce user-generated sound data; processing the user-generated sound data; and determining, based on the processing of the user-generated sound data, whether a sound capturing configuration is to be adapted or not.
METHOD, DEVICE, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING AND/OR SELECTING EXERCISES FOR LEARNING PLAYING A MUSIC INSTRUMENT
Embodiments pertain to a system configured to provide a music learning session to a user. The system comprises a memory for storing data and executable instructions; and a processor that is configured to execute the executable instructions to result in performing the following steps: presenting the user with a representation of a musical piece to be played by the user with a music instrument; receiving an audio signal relating to an instrument output provided by the music instrument played by the user; and determining a level of correspondence between the received audio signal and the representation of the musical piece presented to the user. The steps may further comprises identifying an audio signal portion for which a determined level of correspondence does not meet a correspondence criterion; and determining an error characteristic for the identified audio signal portion.
SYSTEM FOR VISUALLY REPRESENTING MUSICAL TIMING
A system for visually representing musical timing includes a time signature spacer tile associated with a particular time signature and comprising a physical length based on the particular time signature. The system also includes one or more note tiles that have physical note tile lengths that correspond to different types of musical notes with different temporal note durations. The system also includes a tray that has a horizontal length. The tray is configured to receive the time signature spacer tile and a sequence of one or more note tiles of the plurality of note tiles. A combination of the time signature spacer tile and the sequence of note tiles substantially fills the horizontal length of the tray. A combined physical length of the sequence of note tiles corresponds to a combined temporal note duration that corresponds to a measure associated with the particular time signature.
