CONTENT PRESENTATION SYSTEM AND CONTENT PRESENTATION METHOD

A content presentation system includes: a trainee terminal that presents training content to the trainee; a worker terminal used by a worker; a tool recognition device that acquires a work video of the worker and recognizes the tool being used by the worker; a determination device that determines success or failure of the work at a specific stage based on the information about the work tool recognized by the tool recognition device; and a content creation device that creates and updates the training content based on the determination result of the determination device. When the determination result is determined to be the failure of the work by the determination device, the content creation device identifies a portion of the training content corresponding to the specific stage in the work procedure and updates the portion of the training content so as to suppress a factor of the failure.

AUTOMATED GENERATION OF CONDITION STATE INFORMATION FOR ONE OR MORE MACHINES, DEVICES, OR SYSTEMS ASSOCIATED WITH SERVICE OR REPAIR EVENTS

Examples related to facilitating the training, assessment, and dispatching of technicians to a customer location for at least the purpose of servicing or repairing machines, devices, or systems present at the customer location are presented. The technician can be selected for dispatch to the customer location by review of database information, including training information for the technician, among other things. While at the customer location, the technician can be provided with training information delivered via a training module, where such training material content can comprise written materials, photos, video, virtual assistance, remote assistance, games, or the like. The technician can generate videos or other collateral while at the customer location, which can be included for use in a library of training materials for subsequent use, or for other purposes. Various systems and processes for facilitating the selection, management and deployment of training materials for technicians are also provided herein.

Method for assembling or repairing a connectorized electrical equipment in an environment

There is described a method for assembling or repairing a connectorized electrical equipment in an environment. The method comprises connecting an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to an origin connector of the connectorized electrical equipment to be assembled or repaired, for tracking connections. A connection between the origin connector and a destination electrical component is identified using the ATE and sent to a computing device. The computing device compares the connection identified by the ATE with a connectivity list required for the connectorized electrical equipment to determine a next step of the assembling or the repairing which depends on the connection identified by the ATE. A visual aid representative of the next step is generated and outputted to an apparatus which provides, to a user, the visual aid superimposed with the environment or in a virtual environment. A plurality of workers can receive a personalized visual aid on their own apparatus.

Content presentation system and content presentation method

A content presentation system includes: a training content distribution function 431 that presents the training content to the trainee; a work content delivery function 331 that presents a work procedure based on augmented reality; a user operation detection unit 120 that detects a three-dimensional operation of the site worker; a work record analysis function 338 that determines success or failure of the work based on the evaluation reference information; and a content creation/updating function 342 that updates the training content based on the determination result. When a predetermined body motion of the worker is detected, the work record analysis function determines whether the work has failed based on the measurement information of the model worker up to the body motion. When the work is determined to have failed, the content creation/updating function updates the training content so as to suppress the factor of the failure.

ROBOT SYSTEM

A robot system according to the present disclosure includes a robot installed in a work area, a manipulator configured to be gripped by an operator and manipulate the robot, a sensor disposed at a manipulation area and configured to wirelessly detect positional information and posture information on the manipulator, and a control device which calculates a locus of the manipulator based on the positional information and the posture information on the manipulator detected by the sensor, and operates the robot on real time.

The platform is configured to communicate with the computing device and with a cleanroom, the platform including a training module, an assessment module, and a manufacturing module. The platform is configured to, in response to receiving the command from the computing device, activate one of the training module, the assessment module, and the manufacturing module to take control over the cleanroom.

Providing enhanced functionality in an interactive electronic technical manual

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatus, systems, computer program products for performing functionality requiring network connectivity in an interactive electronic technical manual system (IETM) configured to provide electronic and credentialed access to technical documentation for an item. In one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: receiving input comprising informational data; and responsive to receiving the data: generating a graphical security code; receiving input indicating a scanning of the code, wherein the scanning of the code (1) is performed by a user using a remote device connected to a network and (2) causes access to scanning functionality provided by an application installed on the device; and responsive to receiving the input: generating a graphical form code comprising the data; and causing display of a third window comprising the code, wherein the code can be scanned using the application to send the data to a third party over the network.

Adaptive Tutoring System for Machine Tasks in Augmented Reality

A machine task tutorial system is disclosed that utilizes augmented reality to enable an expert user to record a tutorial for a machine task that can be learned by different trainee users in an adaptive manner. The machine task tutorial system advantageously utilizes an adaptation model that focuses on spatial and bodily visual presence for machine task tutoring. The machine task tutorial system advantageously enables adaptive tutoring in the recorded-tutorial environment based on machine state and user activity recognition. The machine task tutorial system advantageously utilizes AR to provide tutorial recording, adaptive visualization, and state recognition. In this way, the machine task tutorial system supports more effective apprenticeship and training for machine tasks in workshops or factories.

Flange and gasket assembly training simulator

An apparatus, system, and method according to which a user is trained in flange and gasket assembly. A simulator models placing a gasket in between a pair of flanges and inserting a plurality of bolts into the pair of flanges. The user simulates tightening one or more of the plurality of bolts, in accordance with a particular tightening pattern, in order to create a proper seal, although the user may tighten the bolt in any order. The simulator provides simulated stress values for each bolt in the plurality of bolts to guide the user in proper flange and gasket assembly. The simulated stress values are based on an empirical, mathematical model and take into account elastic interactions between bolts. The assembly training ends when the user completes the tightening pattern or makes an irreversible error. The user is then provided with a score.
