Virtual reality training application for surgical scrubbing-in procedure
Disclosed herein are immersive virtual and/or augmented reality education/training tools useable to teach operating room personnel any or all of scrubbing-in procedures, gowning/gloving procedures, and proper operating room etiquette. The training tools provide individuals with active practice in the operating room setting prior to the real-world applications, and thus allows the user to become more adept with the necessary procedures prior to entering the operating room. The disclosed virtual and/or augmented reality training will make for a better, less stressful, risk-reducing (e.e., infection of patient), operating room environment that is more conducive for both learning by the students and surgical performance by the experienced operating room personnel.
Shoe tying device
A shoe tying device that includes a female member having a first female member end, a second female member end, at least one female engagement section, and two cut-out portions. The shoe tying device further includes a male member having a male member top face, a first male member end, and a second male member end. The male member includes two pillars that project from the male member top face, at least one male engagement member that extends from the first male member end of the male member, and two cut-out portions that extend from the first male member end towards the second male member end. The at least one female engagement section and the at least one male engagement section selectively engageable each other creating an opening from the alignment of the cut-out portions of the of the female member and the cut-out portions of the male member.
EDUCATIONAL HAIRSTYLING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A system and method for teaching an individual how to cut hair is disclosed. The system includes a head form that may have a plurality of dividing lines being formed on an outer profile of the head form. The plurality of dividing lines define distinct regions of the head form. The system also includes a plurality of skewers. In use, the skewers are inserted into the head form, with the skewers being a representation of hair, to illustrate various hair cutting techniques and styles.
Sanitization Analysis Devices, Systems, and Methods
Systems, devices, methods, and software of the present invention provide for sanitization monitoring of hands, other body parts, and objects. The systems and devices including a detector to provide images of the object within its detection range, and at least one processor to receive the images from the detector, determine areas of the image corresponding to sanitized areas of the object from unsanitized areas of the object, calculate a percentage of sanitized areas to the total area corresponding to the sanitized and unsanitized areas, and report at least the percentage of sanitized area. In various embodiments, users sanitize their hands with fluorescing hand sanitizer and/or a fluorescing germ-proxy agent with soap and water and the sanitized and unsanitized areas are determined based on the amount of fluorescing material remaining on the hands after application.

A wearable dressing device for teaching children and adults with special needs to independently manipulate (fasten and unfasten) clothing fasteners that are correctly positioned at the waist. The dressing device resembles an apron and comprises a variety of clothing fasteners. It is an improved dressing device in that the fasteners are positioned in the same spot on the dressing device as they would be positioned on a lower body article of clothing, such as pants, shorts, or a skirt, thereby making the acquired dressing skill generalizable to the aforementioned lower body items of clothing.

A hairdressing training headform has features simulating a face and neck of a human. A flexible scalp with hair has a peripheral lip. A vertex is configured to simulate an upper portion of a human skull and has a periphery with which the peripheral lip of the scalp engages when the flexible scalp is placed over the vertex. A releasable locking means remote from the vertex periphery biases the vertex toward the headform such that the peripheral lip of the scalp is sandwiched between the vertex periphery and the headform.
