Eyelid care appliance
Disclosed herein is an improved eyelid care appliance and method of using such appliance for preventing and treating blepharitis and mammalian meibomian gland dysfunction caused by gland obstruction. The method and apparatus of the invention enable restoration and maintenance of eyelid hygiene and the natural flow of secretions from the meibomian glands. A preferred embodiment of the apparatus has an oscillating brush head affixed to the distal end of the eyelid care appliance. The brush head can be impregnated with topical pharmacologic or cleansing agents to better facilitate cleaning and therapeutic efficacy.
Software configuration for virtual skincare assessment and virtual cues
A software configuration generates, with a processor, a graphical user interface that renders a menu of a plurality of selection indicia. The plurality of selection indicia includes a skincare rejuvenation area indicium, a skincare assessment indicium, and a skincare interactive cue indicium. Furthermore, the software configuration receives, with the processor, a first user input corresponding to a skincare rejuvenation area associated with the skincare rejuvenation area indicium. Moreover, the software configuration receives, with the processor, a second user input corresponding to the skincare assessment indicium to initiate a skincare assessment based on the skincare rejuvenation area. Furthermore, the software configuration performs, with an image capture device, an image capture of the skincare rejuvenation area. Additionally, the software configuration performs, with the processor, an image analysis of the image capture with one or more previous image captures captured by the image capture device.
Device, system, and method to quit smoking
A non-transitory computer-readable computer medium stores instructions for a patient attempting to quit smoking. The instructions cause a computer to: obtain smoking cessation-related health-care history information of the patient updated by the patient attempting to quit smoking; determine, based on the smoking cessation-related health-care history information, a cognitive-behavioral therapy to be performed, to obtain patient's understanding information about smoking related to the cognitive-behavioral therapy; when a request timing comes, transmit to a patient-side electronic device a patient's understanding information request; receive, from the patient-side electronic device, the patient's understanding information about smoking; determine, by comparing the received patient's understanding information with predetermined correct response information about smoking, whether the patient has a correct patient's understanding about smoking; and when the patient's understanding about smoking is incorrect, transmit, to the patient-side electronic device, cognitive-behavioral therapy information based on the predetermined correct response information.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND DEVICE
A beauty product device is disclosed which includes a variety of sensors for sensing the way in which a user is operating the device. The sensor data can be processed and compared with pre-stored data representative of a desired style and feedback messages generated and provided back to the user to help them achieve the style they wish to achieve based on the comparison.
