ASYNCHRONOUS VIDEO/AUDIO ROLEPLAY AND REVIEW SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230103479 · 2023-04-06 · ·

An asynchronous system and method which facilitates automatic real-feel video roleplay and simulates real situations. The system and method include displaying a video to a user and recording the user’s reactions and responses to the video. Further, system is configured to display a video of a person or an animated character listening and/or nodding their head while recording the user’s reactions and responses to give a real-feel. Additionally, the system and method analyze user’s responses and displays a next video based on the user’s response.

CUSTOM TEXT GENERATION BASED ON SKILL PROFILE
20230142574 · 2023-05-11 ·

A text generation machine performs a method of generating custom text. The text generation machine accesses a skill profile that specifies one or more skills of a user. The text generation machine determines a set of one or more words based on the one or more skills specified by the skill profile. The text generation machine then generates custom text for the user, and the generated custom text includes the determined set of words. The text generation machine then causes presentation of the generated custom text. A trainer machine performs a method of training a learning machine, based on one or more reference stories, to perform all or part of the method of generating custom text. The trained learning machine is configured to generate custom text based on one or more inputted words, which may be selected or otherwise determined based on a user's skill profile.

Unlimited Vocal Health

A voice training method for a singer includes three main steps of establishing a vocal foundation, establishing correct vocal placement and establishing correct vocal space through selective control of abdominal muscles, soft palate, mouth and jaw of the singer. The voice training method trains the singer and/or speaker in performing powerful vocal sounds without causing vocal damage such as vocal strain, vocal fatigue, inflammation of vocal cords, scarring of vocal cords, or the like.

Evaluation apparatus, training apparatus, methods and programs for the same

An evaluation device applies a lowpass filter with a cutoff frequency being a first predetermined value or a second predetermined value greater than the first predetermined value with or without change of feedback formant frequencies which are formant frequencies of a picked-up speech signal, converts the picked-up speech signal, feeds back the converted speech signal to a subject, and includes an evaluation unit that calculates a compensatory response vector by using pickup formant frequencies which are formant frequencies of a speech signal acquired by picking up an utterance made by the subject while feeding back a speech signal that has been converted with change of the feedback formant frequencies to the subject, and pickup formant frequencies which are formant frequencies of a speech signal acquired by picking up an utterance made by the subject while feeding back a speech signal that has been converted without change of the feedback formant frequencies to the subject, and determines an evaluation based on a compensatory response vector for each cutoff frequency.

Simplified, interactive, real-time ultrasound biofeedback system for speech remediation

Systems and methods for an enhanced ultrasound biofeedback therapy for an improved speech remediation treatment for an individual include transmitting a plurality of ultrasound (US) waves toward a tongue of the individual; receiving a plurality of reflected US waves; converting the plurality of reflected US waves into a plurality of US signals to transmit to an ultrasound machine; and generating one or more enhanced images of the tongue at least partially based on the US signals in real-time, the enhanced images including identified Regions of Interest (ROIs) along tongue sub-parts comprising the tongue root, the tongue dorsum, and the tongue blade and respective ROI points identified therein. An interactive visual story is generated and updated in real-time with a tongue-mapping trajectory of the individual on a display based on the enhanced one or more images to determine a successful or unsuccessful sound production.

Diagnosis and treatment of speech and language pathologies by speech to text and natural language processing

There is provided herein a method for assessing a speech/lingual quality of a subject, the method comprising: providing a content-containing stimulus to a user; recording the user's vocal response to the stimulus and/or to instructions related thereto; processing the user's recorded vocal response to measure/extract/compute at least one linguistics (prosodic) parameter and at least one acoustic parameter; transforming the user's vocal response into a transformed text section, which is based on a processing unit's interpretation of the user's verbal response; comparing the transformed text section to a predetermined text section, which represents the user's expected; and computing an output signal indicative of at least one speech/lingual quality of the user, based at least on data resulted from the texts comparison, the at least one measured/extracted/computed linguistic parameter and the at least one acoustic parameter.

Graphical adjustment recommendations for vocalization

Audio of a user speaking is gathered while spatial data of the face of the user is gathered. Positions of elements of the face of are identified, wherein relative positions of the elements cause a plurality of qualities of the user voice. A subset of positions of the elements are identified to have caused a detected first quality of the user voice during the period of time. Alternate positions of the one or more elements are identified that are determined to cause the user voice to have a second quality rather than the first quality. A graphical representation of the face that depicts one or more adjustments from the subset of the positions to the alternate positions is provided to the user.

DOCTORVOX: VOICE THERAPY AND VOCAL TRAINING DEVICE
