SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRAINING A DRIVER ABOUT AUTOMATED DRIVING OPERATION
System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving the training of a driver during automated driving system mode. In one embodiment, a method includes generating, in association with a vehicle takeover and a maneuver by the driver, an automated motion plan associated with the maneuver. The method also includes determining if a difference parameter satisfies a threshold, wherein the difference parameter indicates a disparity between the maneuver by the driver in relation to the automated motion plan associated with the maneuver. The method also includes notifying, if the difference parameter does not satisfy the threshold, the driver that the vehicle takeover and the maneuver by the driver were unnecessary.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRIVER TRAINING DURING OPERATION OF AUTOMATED VEHICLE SYSTEMS
System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to a training system to train a driver about occurrences of anomalous driving events of automated vehicle systems. In one embodiment, a method includes determining, upon receiving a selection of a vehicle behavior from one or more anomalous driving events and a detected state change signal, whether the vehicle behavior affects one or more entities. The method includes assessing a state of the one or more entities to simulate the vehicle behavior according to a safety standard. The method includes triggering simulation of the vehicle behavior if the state satisfies a threshold. The method includes simulating the vehicle behavior by at least controlling the vehicle to simulate the vehicle behavior during automated driving of the vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCORING DRIVING TRIPS
Embodiments of the present invention utilize mobile devices to provide information on a user's behaviors during transportation. For example, a mobile device carried by a user can be used to detect and analyze driving behaviors during trips in vehicles. The mobile device can further be used to assign and display scores relating to the driving behaviors, scores for individual trips, and an overall driving score for the particular user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCENARIO MARKER INFRASTRUCTURE
Systems and methods for scenario marker infrastructure are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method comprises receiving driving scenario data, extracting simulated sensor data from the driving scenario data, extracting scenario markers from the driving scenario data, inputting the simulated sensor data into autonomous driving software, receiving driving instructions output by the driving software, updating a driving status of the autonomous vehicle based on the driving instructions output by the autonomous driving software, creating a simulation log comprising the simulated sensor data and the driving instructions, and inserting the scenario markers into the simulation log.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRAINING AIRCRAFT OPERATORS
A computer-implemented method may be used for training aircraft operators. The method may include determining a set of recommended flight training topics for a target aircraft operator, and receiving flight data recorded from simulator training performed by the aircraft operator or operation of aircraft by the aircraft operator. Additionally, the method may include analyzing the flight data to determine a proficiency evaluation, the proficiency evaluation being a measure of proficiency of the aircraft operator in one or more training topics, and adjusting the set of recommended flight training topics based on proficiency evaluation.

A system and method are that includes a frame and a weapon mount on the frame that receives a weapon mock-up. The method includes setting up a trainer simulator including opening a transportable shipping container, wherein the transportable shipping container includes a coupled integrated common base frame and a universal mount tower. The method includes assembling a seat and pivoting the universal mount tower from a horizontal position to a vertical position wherein the universal mount tower auto-locks into position. The method includes delivering ground vehicle based weapon system training to a user using a continuum of human interface fidelities that includes a first, second and third fidelity, wherein the user is first delivered training at a first fidelity, and then at a second fidelity and then at a third fidelity. Virtual simulation for insurance
A driving accident simulation, having a head-wearable user interface (e.g., a head-worn virtual-reality display), may be used to inform a driver of the driver's potential liability under different insurance options. The simulation may determine damages caused by the simulated accident, and identify multiple insurance options and the resulting user liability under each option. The simulation may also be used to assess an insurance adjuster's ability to estimate damages from an accident, by receiving the adjuster's estimate and comparing it to the simulation's own estimate of damages. In some embodiments, the simulation may present a driver with a simulated view from a point of view of another party to the simulated accident.
Vehicle activity information system
Techniques are described for vehicle activity information collection and analysis. A vehicle activity information unit in a vehicle generates vehicle activity information including video data that is captured by interior and/or exterior camera(s) on the vehicle. The vehicle activity information can also include sensor data generated by an accelerometer, a compass, a temperature sensor, a Global Positioning System module, and/or other sensor(s). The vehicle activity information can also include audio data generated by at least one microphone. In some implementations, at least a portion of the vehicle activity information is collected during a period of time that includes an event (e.g., an accident). The information is stored in data storage with an association between the information and the event, and is processed to generate performance data associated with a driver of the vehicle. The performance data can be presented through a user interface to the driver or other(s).
METHOD FOR ASSISTING DRIVING TRAINING, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for assisting driving training, and an electronic device, relating to the field of computer technology, and in particular, to the field of mobile control technology, are provided. The method includes: acquiring training situations of a plurality of teaching vehicles from a server: displaying the training situations of the plurality of teaching vehicles; and generating a control command for driving training according to an instruction of a trainer in a training site; and sending the control command to a vehicle-mounted terminal of a corresponding teaching vehicle. The technical solution may be applied to the training site, and controls the vehicle-mounted terminal based on the mobile device, thereby realizing mobile driving training and improving driving training effects.

A method of evaluating the driving behavior in a vehicle. The method includes determining values of a plurality of parameters of the operation of a first vehicle in a first road segment, determining values of the plurality of parameters for one or more second vehicles in a second road segment having similar properties to those of the first road segment, comparing the determined values of the first vehicle and the one or more second vehicles and providing an evaluation of the driving behavior of the first vehicle, responsive to the comparison.
