The laparoscopic training device includes a plurality of walls surrounding the base and defining an interior volume. The interior volume simulates a gynecological surgery environment. A training feature is attached to at least one of the plurality of walls and base. The training feature includes at least one training element for simulating a laparoscopic surgery technique.

The system is capable of simulating, in virtual reality space, a weld puddle having real-time molten metal fluidity and heat dissipation characteristics. The system is further capable of importing data into the virtual reality welding system and analyzing the data to characterize a student welder's progress and to provide training.

The present disclosure refers to a computer-implemented training system for user-interactive training of a plurality of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) methods performable in an IVD laboratory system, comprising: one or more data processors; a memory device connected to the one or more data processors; a user interface provided with an output device having a display device and an input device configured to receive user input; and one or more software applications running on the one or more data processors and having a plurality of application modules. The plurality of application modules is further configured to control, in response to receiving user input, output of a plurality of views of the IVD laboratory system through the display device according to view output control data indicative of view parameters assigned to a view output mode from a plurality of view output modes; receive a training mode selection user input indicative of a user selection for an IVD method to be trained from the plurality of methods having an assigned view output mode of the plurality of view output modes.

A method of operating an autonomous cleaning robot is described. The method includes initiating a training run of the autonomous cleaning robot and receiving, at a mobile device, location data from the autonomous cleaning robot as the autonomous cleaning robot navigates an area. The method also includes presenting, on a display of the mobile device, a training map depicting portions of the area traversed by the autonomous cleaning robot during the training run and presenting, on the display of the mobile device, an interface configured to allow the training map to be stored or deleted. The method also includes initiating additional training runs to produce additional training maps and presenting a master map generated based on a plurality of stored training maps.

Methods and apparatus to provide visual information associated with welding operations are disclosed. An weld training system includes a display, a camera, a communications device, and a welding helmet. The communications device communicates with welding equipment. The welding helmet has a view port. The communications device is configured to hold the camera, the communications device, and the display such that, when the welding helmet is worn by a wearer, the display is viewable by the wearer, the camera has a view through the view port such that the display displays to the wearer images taken by the camera through the view port and displays a simulated object generated based on information received from the welding equipment via the communications device.
