Determination device, determination method and program
The determination device acquires a first distance information measured by a measurement unit and indicating a distance from a movable body to an object, and a second distance information estimated by an estimation unit and indicating the distance from the movable body to the object. Also, the determination device acquires own position accuracy information of the movable body. Then, the determination device determines presence or absence of deviation larger than a predetermined value between a position of the object in map information and the position of the object in real environment, based on a difference value of the distances indicated by the first distance information and the second distance information and the own position accuracy information.
Geospatial asset management
Described are methods, systems, and techniques to implement an improved map interface that displays updatable geographic information and that enables users to request one or more data products for a geospatial asset corresponding to a region of a geographic area. In some embodiments, a GIS application can be configured to interface with third party geospatial data suppliers that provide different types of data products displayable in the map interface. One or more of these data products can be requested by the user and may be associated with a recurring time interval to provide the user with expanded display views that are up to date and complete.
Multi-phase label placement process for rendering map tiles
A mapping system prevents mismatching placement of map labels between adjacent map tiles for rendering digital maps. In particular, the mapping system performs a label placement process that considers labels of a map tile shared with adjacent map tiles in order to prevent labels that intersect the map tile and the adjacent map tiles having mismatching placements. During the label placement process, the mapping system performs a first placement phase to place shared labels of a map tile according to label placement constraints. Based on the first phase, the mapping system identifies intersecting labels that can be successfully placed. Using the successfully placed intersecting labels, the mapping system performs a second label placement phase. In particular, the mapping system first places the successfully placed set of intersecting labels, and subsequently places non-intersecting labels for the map tile according to the label placement constraints.
Method and apparatus for adjusting viewing angle in virtual environment, and readable storage medium
This disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for adjusting a viewing angle in a virtual environment. The method includes: displaying a first viewing angle picture, the first viewing angle picture including a virtual object having a first orientation; receiving a drag instruction for a viewing angle adjustment control; adjusting the first viewing angle direction according to the drag instruction, to obtain a second viewing angle direction; and displaying a second viewing angle picture, the second viewing angle picture including the virtual object having the first orientation.
Cleaning system, cleaning devices, instruction insert, and methods therefor
A visual teaching aid (100) assists teaching a cleaning order for a predefined area (106). The visual teaching aid can include a legend portion (103) defining a plurality of portions (105) of the predefined area, while a predefined area portion (104) pictorially illustrates the plurality of portions. The legend portion can define a plurality of sequential numerical indicia (107) indicating a predefined order in which the plurality of portions should be cleaned. The predefined area portion can include a plurality of visual indicators (110) assigned to the plurality of portions on a one-to-one basis. The visual teaching aid can be included with one or more cleaning cloths (300,500) in a cleaning package assembly (700).
MAPPING AND SIMULTANEOUS LOCALISATION OF AN OBJECT IN AN INTERIOR ENVIRONMENT
A method for simultaneous localization and mapping of an object in an indoor environment, including autonomous location and mapping. The method includes generating a map of the indoor environment and determining movement of the object on the basis of data captured by the object, the localization and mapping method jointly generating the map and determining the movement. Ambiguity between two positions of an obstacle on a map during generation is thus resolved by taking into account the movement of the object generating the map, without the need for complex implementation elements.
MODIFYING STYLE LAYER PROPERTIES OF A DIGITAL MAP
A process, and corresponding system for performing the process, is described for editing and representing property values for a digital map. The process retrieves electronic map data from a style sheet corresponding to a vector map tile set for a digital map and displays map layer styles in a property editor panel, where each map style layer references a portion of the data and one or more visual style rules to apply to the portion. The process also displays a visual map with the map layer styles applied. Upon receiving selection of one or more map style layers from the plurality of map style layers, the process displays style layer properties and values corresponding to each. The process renders in the visual map only the selected one or more style layers marked as visible. As edits are made in the property editor panel, the visual map is updated to reflect the changes.

Systems and methods for labeling areas on an airport map
A system and method include generating, by a map labeling control unit including a processor, label candidates for areas of an airport map, evaluating, by the map labeling control unit, the label candidates to determine positions of labels for the areas of the airport map, and determining, by the map labeling control unit, different sets of labels to display for different views of the airport map.
ALIGNMENT OF STANDARD-DEFINITION AND HIGH-DEFINITION MAPS
Aspects of the disclosed invention relate to alignment of standard definition (SD) maps and high definition (HD maps) which may come from different sources. Responsive to input of a destination, a route to that destination may be defined, and SD map waypoints generated from that defined route. A graph may be generated from the HD map. The waypoints may be matched with nodes and edges in the graph. One or more edges may constitute a segment in the HD map. A plurality of segments are identified to match the route.
