Wireless play communication wristband
This invention is intended to strengthen play transmission between players and coaches before, and during plays. The wristband is an elastic, or adjustable wristband with a clear plastic window and LED strips or LED matrix that lights the Light Emitting Diode (LED) next to a desired play. The wristband is wirelessly linked to either a radio frequency panel, bluetooth device, or infrared controller. The wristband LED's are wired to a microcontroller, Bluetooth controller (or RF transceiver, or Infrared controller), and a battery power source. The LED's are displayed through the clear plastic window and the plays are slid over the top of the LED's. The micro controller, battery and wireless controller are contained in a velcro-enclosed, low-profile enclosure opposite the clear plastic window.
Secure Mobile Devices
A mobile device includes a body configured to be worn by a user; a lock switchable between an open state and a closed state, where, when the lock is in the closed state, the mobile device is prevented from being removed from the user; and a wireless data system, where the wireless data system and the lock are jointly configured such that, when the lock is open, the wireless data system is at least partially disabled.
Medical wristband with invisible information and preparation method thereof
The present invention relates to a medical wristband with invisible information and a method for manufacturing the same. The conventional developed dyes or inks in the prior art can store information which, however, is visible. In the present invention, polystyrene (PS) microspheres are prepared by micro-emulsification: PS particles are dissolved in a toluene solution and a fluorescent dye is added to obtain a fluorescent solution; an SDS solution is added in and mixed with the fluorescent solution to obtain a system to be ultrasonically emulsified; and the system is ultrasonically emulsified and the toluene is completely volatilized. The ink can be used directly as an invisible ink. The information is written, as two-dimensional codes and by the ink, on a piece of non-fluorescent paper, and plastic-packaged onto a wristband of a patient. Information about a patient can be successfully scanned in the ease of UV on.
Single Ply Wristband With Printable Coating
A wristband and label form. The form comprises a first portion having a plurality of releasable labels die cut therein and a second portion having a void and a wristband formed of a single ply. The wristband is releasably secured to the second portion and has a first panel and a second panel. The first panel has a printable area comprising printable coating. The printable area is accessible through the void and is configured to receive indicia from a printer through the void while the wristband is releasably secured to the second portion. Upon removal of the wristband from the second portion, the second panel is foldable over the first panel to laminate the printable area.
Radio-frequency identification wristband with surface acoustic wave sensor
An apparatus for automatic radio-frequency identification (RFID). In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a flexible strap comprising a plurality of holes and a buckle configured to buckle to any one of the plurality of holes, such that, when the buckle is buckled to one of the plurality of holes, the strap forms a closed loop. The apparatus further comprises one or more tag enclosures. Each tag enclosure comprises one or more buckles and a RFID tag configured to communicate identifying data to a reader device. The one or more buckles of each tag enclosure are each configured to buckle to any one of the plurality of holes on the strap such that the tag enclosure may be attached to the strap at any one of a plurality of positions on the strap.
VACCINATION VERIFICATION BRACELET
Vaccine status verification devices and systems for third parties to determine and verify the vaccination status of a user. In one embodiment, information relating to the vaccination status, vaccination date(s), and optionally other information related to a user is stored on and displayable from a bracelet worn by the user.
Lifeguard identification device
Provided herein are identification collars or devices for a lifeguard. The identification collar and the identification device are generally unitary collars to which a plurality of reflective elements and a plurality of indicia are attached circumferentially on the outer surface of the collar so the wearer is easily identified from any direction. The unitary collars are made from stretchable elastic material.
DISPOSABLE WRISTBAND AND THE APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A disposable wristband prevents damage to information printed on a surface even when being in contact with a drug such as alcohol. The disposable wristband may include a band body made of a fibrous material and having a predetermined length so as to be wound around a user's wrist in a band shape, a thermal label paper provided on a front surface of the band body, and an adhesive member provided on a rear surface of the band body. The thermal label paper may be processed with UV coating. The band body may be made of a nylon cloth material and may have front and rear surfaces dip-coated with polyamide. The adhesive member may be a double-sided tape and provided with a release paper. An apparatus for manufacturing the disposable wristband is also provided.
Tamper-Evident Indicator Wraps
Systems and methods include tamper-evident indicators applied to a band comprising a strap that forms a closed loop. Tamper-evident sections of the indicators provide increased security against accidental and intentional removal of the indicators. Indicators are provided with adhesives and bare areas devoid of adhesive allowing easy and secure application of indicators to bands while they are being worn and with greater ease. Indicators can be further provided with liners protecting the adhesives allowing the indicators to be easily applied by gloved hands, reducing contamination risks. Contamination and wear risks can be further reduced by supplying indicators with antimicrobial surfaces and overprint varnishing.
Single ply wristband with printable coating
A combination wristband and label form. The front side has a first portion having a plurality of labels die cut therein and a second portion having a void. A back side of the form comprises a polyester section. The form includes a single-ply wristband defined by die cuts in the polyester section. The single-ply wristband has a foldable portion comprising a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is configured to accept printed indicia. A strap extends laterally from the first panel in a first direction and a tab extends from the second panel in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The tab is configured to be adhesively adhered to the strap to secure the single-ply wristband around a person's appendage. The single-ply wristband is of unitary construction and is devoid of paper.
