RADIO-FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION WRISTBAND WITH SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE SENSOR
An apparatus for automatic radio-frequency identification (RFID). In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a flexible strap comprising a plurality of holes and a buckle configured to buckle to any one of the plurality of holes, such that, when the buckle is buckled to one of the plurality of holes, the strap forms a closed loop. The apparatus further comprises one or more tag enclosures. Each tag enclosure comprises one or more buckles and a RFID tag configured to communicate identifying data to a reader device. The one or more buckles of each tag enclosure are each configured to buckle to any one of the plurality of holes on the strap such that the tag enclosure may be attached to the strap at any one of a plurality of positions on the strap.
Adjustable tagging system
Products, systems and methods are provided for applying a tag or other label/indicia to an item, particularly an item with a circular, elliptical or irregular cross-section. The tag may take various forms. The tags may be secured to a variety of items, e.g., hoses, pipes, equipment, powered industrial units, and the like. The disclosed products, systems and methods allow the tag/label/indicia to be secured relative to the item in an easy and efficient manner. In addition, the securement mechanism includes cooperative mushroom style hooks and loops, and is generally susceptible to only a single use and is disabled and/or ineffectual if the securement is “reversed/undone” and reuse of the securement mechanism is attempted.
Wristband Assembly and Edge Configuration
An assembly and/or an edge configuration of a wristband is described herein. In some implementations, a wristband may include a first end portion formed from a first perforated cut in a sheet of material. The first end portion is disposed on a first end of the wristband. The wristband may include a second end portion formed from a second perforated cut in the sheet of material. The second end portion may be disposed on a second end of the wristband that is opposite the first end. The wristband may include a strap portion formed from a percentage cut in the sheet of material. The strap portion may be disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion.
Identification Bracelet
An identification bracelet includes a wristband securable to a wearer. The wristband includes a plurality of openings for receiving a locking rivet and one or more openings for receiving one or more color-coded pins, a housing attached to the wristband, the housing having a pair of lugs with a slit, each lug extending from each side of the housing and adapted to receive the corresponding ends of the wristband inserted into the corresponding slits. The housing comprises a snap-on cover with at least a portion of the cover being transparent, a base, and a waterproof gasket insertable into the base. The snap-on cover is configured to be snapped on the base thereby creating a hermetically sealed waterproof structure. The housing also includes an information tag insertable into the housing and visible through the transparent portion of the housing.
Flexible band clasp with communication device
A clasp is configured to permanently interlock around a flexible strip of material and includes first and second interlocking members. At least one interlocking member includes a Bluetooth communication device. Each interlocking member can include a plurality of hooks and a corresponding plurality of recesses, where the recesses of one interlocking member receive the hooks of the other interlocking member to secure a band within the clasp between the interlocking members. The recesses can be completely internal to the clasp to prevent external tampering. Each of the interlocking members can include various protrusions and ribs that compress and secure the band within the clasp, so as to prevent movement of the band between the interlocking members when interlocked.
Single ply wristband with printable coating
A combination wristband and label form. The form includes a polyester section having a single-ply wristband defined by die cuts therein. The wristband includes a foldable portion having a first panel and a second panel. An outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel is coated with a coating configured for receiving printed indicia. An outer surface of at least the other of the first panel and the second panel has adhesive to allow for the first panel to be adhesively secured to the second panel after the coating has received the printed indicia. The void exposes the coating on the outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel to allow the printed indicia to be printed on the coating through the void. Upon folding the foldable portion, the printed indicia is sandwiched between the first panel and the second panel.
MEDICAL WRISTBAND WITH INCREASED EASE OF MANUFACTURING
The present disclosure provides a new and innovative medical wristband that can be thermally printed with patient identification features and that also includes location-tracking features. The provided medical wristband includes a wristband component and a separate closure component. The wristband component may be thermally printed using conventional thermal printers because it is not physically attached to the location tracker that would otherwise make the medical wristband too thick for conventional thermal printers. The wristband component may be printed with patient identification information and/or a scannable code accessing patient identification information. The closure component has a location tracker coupled to it, such as a Bluetooth beacon. In one example, the location tracker is welded to the closure component. Accordingly, a patient may wear a single thermally printed wristband that provides medical professionals with both patient identification features and location tracking features.
First Responder Bracelet
The present invention relates to a first responder bracelet that includes a sleeve and a tassel both connected at one end and another end engages when user wears it. The bracelet unfolds into a tourniquet. The tourniquet includes a strap within a sleeve. The strap is fixed with a strap lock with a buckle at one end. Additionally, a twist lock is fixed to the strap at the other end. The twist lock is capable of twisting and engaging with the strap lock near the buckle area.
Personal activity tracking system
An activity tracking device is defined to detect and record movement of a person to which the activity tracking device is affixed. A secondary electronic device is defined separate from the activity tracking device. The secondary electronic device is defined to receive data from the activity tracking device regarding the detected and recorded movement of the person. A website is defined to communicate with connected devices including the secondary electronic device. The website is defined to provide a user account for the person. The website is defined to convey information regarding the detected and recorded movement of the person through the user account.
TYRE FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
The present invention relates to a tyre (100) for vehicle wheels comprising at least one carcass structure (101), a tread band (109) applied in a position radially external to said carcass structure, and a pair of sidewalls (108) applied laterally on the opposite sides with respect to said carcass structure, where on at least one sidewall of said pair of sidewalls (108), a label (120) is applied comprising a protective layer (121), an adhesive layer (123), and possibly one or more ink layers (122) interposed between said protective layer (121) and said adhesive layer (123), where said adhesive layer (123) adheres the label (120) to the surface of said sidewall, where said protective layer (121) comprises polyester-based and/or polyether-based cross-linked aliphatic polyurethanes exhibiting dynamic elastic modulus values E′, measured at 25° C., static tensile deformation 1%, dynamic deformation +0.1%, and frequency 1 Hz, equal to or higher than about 5 MPa, and a residual deformation measured at 25° C. after 4 cycles of deformation from 0% to 12%, equal to or lower than about 1%.
