Freestanding Exhibit Display
A freestanding exhibit display for supporting a banner includes a base, an upright support structure, and a transverse support arm. The upright support structure extends from the base. The transverse support arm is mounted on the upright support structure and includes a cradle defining a cradle space. The cradle is configured to retain a furled portion of the banner in the cradle space with only gravity.
BANNER FRAME WITH ANCHOR STAKES
A banner frame mounted on two or more anchor stakes or spikes. The anchor stakes are configured to provide a natural anchor once driven into the ground, thereby preventing the typical leaning, bending or bowing of the posts that leads to sagging of the banner. A single anchor stake or spike may also be to support a single post for applications where a single post is needed.
RETRACTABLE WARNING SIGN
A retractable warning sign having a timer, comprising: an elongated housing having a longitudinal slot, a distal end, and a proximal end; a retractable strap wound around a spool assembly and housed inside said elongated housing that extends and retracts through said longitudinal slot; a timer connected to said spool assembly to set a retraction time for said retractable strap; a hinge assembly coupled to said proximal end of said elongated housing to provide a translational movement for said elongated housing, and an attachment mechanism to attach said elongated housing on a wall or a ceiling or a window.
LIGHT CONTROL FLAG FASTENING DEVICE
A fastening device for a light control flag includes a batten including at least one flag fastener, where in use the flag fastener secures a portion of a light control flag to the batten. A support fastener is attached to the batten, where in use the support fastener affixes the batten to a support member of the light control flag. A light control flag including the light control flag fastening device, and a method of securing a portion of a light control flag, are also described.
Adjustable media frame
An adjustable media frame has been developed. The adjustable media frame includes an adjustable upper rail and a hanging pendant member. The adjustable upper rail includes a first upper rail member and a second upper rail member with the first upper rail member sliding in or over the second upper rail member to adjust the length of the upper rail. The hanging pendant member is included with a hanging connection point to both the first upper rail member and the second upper rail member.
Modular banner kit and a method for deploying same
A modular banner kit is provided having a trainable surface support element, a spindle component configured for training of the trainable surface support element therearound, a targeted illumination feature operable to selectively increase the visibility of the trainable surface support element, and a take-up action module configured to drivingly rotate the spindle component to thereby effect winding of the trainable surface support element onto the spindle component or to effect unwinding of the trainable surface support element from a partially or fully wound-up condition. A method for operating the modular banner kit and an entertainment venue are also provided.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING A BANNER
Banner supports and processes for making and using same. In some examples, a banner support can include at least one end connector having body which defines an aperture that is sized to allow a t-post to extend through the aperture, the end connector including at least one tab and an elongate support structure configured for connecting to a top edge of a banner and having a strength capable at least of supporting the banner, the support structure having an end with an end opening that is configured to selectively receive the end connector tab for attaching the end connector to the support structure in a locked position, and configured to selectively release the tab to at least partially detach the end connector from the support structure.
DISPLAY STAND
A display stand is disclosed which includes a tensioning mechanism connecting a horizontal to a column (20), the column including a fixed lower component (78) and a movable upper component (76) which is able to move up and down with respect to the fixed component. A mechanism for releasably securing the horizontal to the movable component is provided and there is a press to lock/press to release latch (84, 86, 104, 106, 108, 110) joining the upper and lower components. A spring (144) pushes the upper component (76) upwards after the latch has been activated to release the upper component (76).
Cross street banner suspension system
A banner support system comprising a first support pole supporting a winch, a first support line coupler, a second support line coupler, a first aperture, a first access port, and a second access port. A second support pole comprises a third anchor point, a fourth anchor point, a second aperture, and a third access port. The upper support line is coupled to the first support line coupler and the third support line coupler, and the lower support line is coupled to the second support line coupler and the fourth support line coupler. The banner is slidably coupled to the upper support line and the lower support line. The first tensioning line is coupled to the winch and extends from the first aperture and is coupled to a first end of the banner. The second tensioning line extends from the second aperture to a second end of the banner.
