Systems and methods for flying sheet materials
10151329 · 2018-12-11 ·

Systems and methods for flying sheet materials including a conduit, at least one airflow diverter and an outlet, and a fan positioned relative to the conduit for moving high velocity air through the conduit and out the at least one airflow diverter. In example embodiments, at least one sheet material is connected to a portion of the conduit and nearby the outlet such that the high velocity air provides a force against the sheet material causing the same to unfurl and fly as if an outdoor wind was present. In some example embodiments, two or more sheet materials can be unfurled or fly at the same time.

Vehicle whip system

A whip system includes a base component including a first electrical connector disposed in a base housing and one or more wires coupled to the first electrical connector and routed through the base housing. The whip system further includes a collar component including a second electrical connector disposed in a collar housing and configured to electrically couple with the first electrical connector. The vehicle whip system further includes a whip component configured to couple to the one or more wires via the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector.

A flag display device (1) used for fully displaying a flag regardless of the presence of wind and/or in the dark. The flag display device supports a preferably interchangeable display panel (3) extending between a top horizontal support arm (7) and a bottom horizontal support arm (8) that each extend perpendicularly from a vertical mast (4). At least one display light source (22) illuminates the display panel at night.

Flag pin, flag pin kit, and methods of using the same

A flag pin is provided comprising a pin, a flag at the end of the pin, a sleeve positioned around the pin, and a flexible base receiving the tip of the pin therethrough and abutting the bottom of the sleeve. A user may insert the flag pin into the sleeve so that the tip of the pin extends from the bottom of the sleeve, and move the bottom of the pin through the flexible base so that the top of the base rests against the bottom of the cylindrical sleeve. The bottom end of the pin may then extend into a base on which the pin is to be placed, with the flexible base vertically supporting the cylindrical sleeve and the pin itself, and holding the pin in a generally vertical orientation. A kit for assembling flag pins and a related method are also provided.

PORTABLE FLAG POLE
20180061287 · 2018-03-01 ·

A portable flag pole is a portable assembly which is able to be assembled with a weighted base, or slid over a stake which is driven into the ground for support; then attach a flag of preference, with the portable assembly keeping the flag pointed in the wind direction to inhibit tangling.

FLAG PIN, FLAG PIN KIT, AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A flag pin is provided comprising a straight pin with a sharpened end, a flag positioned at the opposite end of the pin, a vertical, cylindrical sleeve positioned around the pin, and a flexible base configured to receive the sharpened tip of the pin therethrough and to abut the bottom of the cylindrical sleeve. In use, a user inserts the flag pin into the cylindrical sleeve so that the sharpened tip of the pin extends out of the bottom of the sleeve, and moves the bottom of the pin into and through the flexible base so that the top of the flexible base comes to rest against the bottom of the cylindrical sleeve. In this configuration, the bottom end of the pin may then extend into a base on which the pin is to be placed, with the flexible base vertically supporting both the cylindrical sleeve and the pin itself, and holding the pin in a generally vertical orientation. A kit for assembling such flag pins and a method of its use are also provided.

Stand for elongated objects
09615686 · 2017-04-11 ·

A stand for Christmas trees and other elongated objects includes at least one fixed arm and a spring biased, movable arm assembly, each of which may include a plurality of rollers. When a Christmas tree or other elongated objects is pressed to downward between the fixed arm and movable arm assembly, spring pressure supplied by the movable arm assembly retains the elongated object within the stand. A release lever pulls the movable arm assembly away from the elongated object, facilitating removal of the object from the stand.

Golf hole marker having a self-righting structure
09616306 · 2017-04-11 ·

A golf hole marker, having a self-righting structure, includes a base, a weighting material received in the base, a telescopic pole and a flag. The base includes a top shell and a bottom shell. The bottom shell is substantially spherically curved and receives the weighting material therein. The top shell has a passage to receive a bottom portion of the pole and a protuberance to press down the weighting material for preventing the weighting material from moving within the bottom shell. The weighting material lowers a center of mass of the golf hole marker lower than a center of the spherically curved bottom shell. Preferably, the base is in the shape of a golf ball.
