System of producing visual effects
11527181 · 2022-12-13 ·

A system for simultaneously producing immersive visual effects on an inside of an enclosure and passive visual effects to be viewed from the outside of the enclosure. The enclosure includes a plurality of sidewalls each having a reflective inner surface facing one other. The system includes a digital video display positioned to direct digital video imagery through the semi-reflective sidewall and into the enclosure. Light of the digital video imagery reflects off the reflective inner surfaces of plurality of sidewalls, which allow a percentage of the light to leave the enclosure, making the visual effects observable from the outside. The light will continue this cycle of reflection and transmission, creating an observable infinity effect from the outside, and an entirely enclosed visual experience from the inside.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FUNCTIONAL ROAD OBJECT
20220380990 · 2022-12-01 ·

A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for controlling a functional road object. For example, at least one processor receives road sign attribute data indicating at least one attribute of a road sign and receives weather forecast data indicating a weather forecast of a location in which the road sign is disposed. The road sign includes at least one machinery for mitigating exposure to one or more weather conditions. The at least one processor identifies a state of visibility for the road sign using the road sign attribute data and the weather forecast data and generates a control signal for controlling the at least one machinery using the state of visibility.

SAFETY CORRIDOR ARRANGEMENT
20230055364 · 2023-02-23 ·

The invention relates to a safety corridor arrangement for use in emergency situations, including an activation means, an operation means, associated with an activation centre, and a safety corridor suitable to guide or direct a person on a particular pathway. The activation centre, through activation of the activation means can cause operation of the operation means, and the operation means creates the safety corridor to guide a person along the safety corridor towards an exit. The invention also relates to a point of exit arrangement, and methods of use.

Li-Fi communications for selecting content for distribution across a sequence of displays along a vehicle pathway

A content distribution node that distributes content to display devices which are arranged in a spaced apart sequence along a pathway of vehicles for display to passengers. The content distribution node receives from a mobile gateway node of a vehicle, through a Light Fidelity signal receiver circuit, a profile message containing profile information related to the vehicle. The content distribution node selects, from among content files available in a content repository, a set of video frames for distribution to the display devices based on the profile information. The content distribution node distributes different video frames among the set of video frames to different ones of the display devices with timing of the distribution that allows the video frames among the set to be displayed on respective ones of the display devices in the sequence before arrival of the vehicle within a field-of-view of at least one of the display devices.

LINEAR OPTICAL PROJECTION DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
20230029569 · 2023-02-02 ·

An optical projection device for projecting a linear image is disclosed. Light emitted by an array of light emitting diodes arranged along an array axis is focused in at least a direction perpendicular to the array axis and diffused in a direction parallel to the array axis, thereby generating a linear image in which light from adjacent light emitting diodes is spatially overlapped. In some embodiments, the focusing and diffusion of the light is performed by a Fresnel lens and a lenticular lens, respectively. The optical projection device may be employed to virtually mark a surface, such as a floor in an industrial setting. High power light emitting diodes may be employed to generate a linear image having an illuminance of at least 4000 lux that is focused to a distance between 7.5 and 20 feet.

Device for securing a display to a door
11615723 · 2023-03-28 ·

A device for securing a display to a glass door utilizes attachment clips which attach to the sides of the door. The attachment clips each have a first side wall, a second wall and an end wall which extends between the first side wall and the second side wall. An arm is attached to the first side wall. The arm is attached to a tension member which is configured, upon installation, to retain the display against the door, where the tension member applies a load which causes the first side wall to engage a first surface of the door and the second side wall to engage a second side of the door, thereby urging the end wall against a side of the door.
