An apparatus includes first and second display bars, each display bar having a rectangular cross-section, each display bar having a plurality of first through holes each having a first diameter for receiving a first tubular support therethrough, and each display bar having a plurality of second through holes each having a second diameter for receiving a fastener; a first upright tubular support receivable through one of the first through holes in the first display bar for vertically supporting the first display bar; a second upright tubular support receivable through one of the first through holes in the second display bar for vertically supporting the second display bar; and a fastener secured through one of the second through holes in the first display bar and one of the second through holes in the second display bar to secure the first and second display bars together.

A digital signage system displays a plurality of sets of electronic content on a touch panel display so as to be selectable. The system sets a session for accepting the selection of content, accepts the selection of content by the user, and temporarily holds the information about the content selected by the user during the session. After the selection of content, the system creates access information for collectively accessing the held content, issues a two-dimensional code that is based on the access information and can be read using the user's mobile terminal, and displays the two-dimensional code on the touch panel display.

A display unit includes a transparent or translucent layer with a display side and a rear side, with an opaque or semitransparent layer on the display side, containing a plurality of apertures, a plurality of illuminants which are present at, or at a distance from, the rear side of the transparent or translucent layer, at least partly embedded in the layer, wherein at least one illuminant is substantially behind one of the apertures in each case configured and designed to emit light in the direction of and through the aperture, a transparent or translucent lamination ply adjoining the opaque or semitransparent layer and covering the plurality of apertures, and a transparent or translucent protective layer adjoining this lamination ply. A LED sign which can be programmed to display a desired message can be made utilizing a sign kit comprising (1) one or more faces, wherein each face is comprised of a plurality light emitting diodes; (2) a receiver having erasable, programmable read-only memory and a USB printer port plug; (3) a power supply; and (4) a USB flash drive which is adapted to connecting to the receiver through the USB printer port plug; wherein the USB flash drive is programmed to reset the erasable, programmable read-only memory of the receiver by erasing any preexisting data which may reside in the read-only memory of the receiver and to program the erasable, programmable read-only memory with auto executing script to set the desired message to be displayed. The LED sign can be mounted on a trailer for display as the sign is moving or for display in a stationary location.

A display system includes a plurality of light emitting units configured to float in a fluid medium such that each light emitting unit is movable, each light emitting unit including a light emitting element configured to selectively emit light, a communication element operable to receive instruction data to control operation of the light emitting element; and a power element configured to provide power to at least the light emitting element, and an image capture element configured to receive light emitted by at least one light emitting unit and to generate image data based on the light received and a controller configured to generate the instruction data based at least on a comparison of the image data to a desired image and transmit the instruction data to the communication element to control the light emitting element such that the display system provides the desired image.

A simulative system includes a tombstone replica and at least one receiver peg receivable in a non-rotatable manner within a corresponding at least one slot embedded in an underside of the tombstone replica. The present invention discloses a display structure comprising at least one display module, wherein the display structure comprises at least one substrate layer comprising polymer, glass, ceramic or composite materials and integrated electrically conductive circuitry with electronics, where applicable, and light emitting devices; at least one electrically conductive layer, enabling intelligent control of the light emitting devices; wherein a display module comprises at least one coating or molded layer protecting the display structure from moist and other environmental effects; the display structure further comprises, when applicable, a number of structured, through-holes reaching through the whole display structure; the display structure is configured to be constructed from smaller, manufacturable sized display modules by interconnecting suitable amount of display modules into rows and columns; and the display structure is applicable to harsh environments comprising ice and outdoor conditions. Various coating layers and materials can be selected for the ice application use and for the outdoor use. The corresponding manufacturing method is also part of the inventive concept.
