Household appliance component
A household appliance component has a base element with at least one photoluminescent layer and at least one light guide. The light guide is configured to couple in and transmit light containing at least one excitation wavelength of the photoluminescent layer to the photoluminescent layer. An optical switch is assigned to the light guide to route light coupled in the light guide depending on the temperature of the optical switch. Further a household appliance contains the at least one household appliance component.
Refrigerated display case with shelf indexing system
A refrigerated display case is provided. The refrigerated display case includes a rear wall has a first end, a second end disposed opposite the first end and a plurality of markings disposed between the first end and the second end. A mounting rail is coupled to the rear wall. A shelf is adjustably coupleable to the mounting rail at a plurality of positions between the first end and the second end of the rear wall. The plurality of markings are configured to indicate a distance from the first end of the rear wall to the shelf based on alignment of the shelf with at least one of the plurality of markings.
Low cost radio frequency identification (RFID) dispensing systems
A radio frequency identification (RFID) dispenser that includes low cost electronic components that can read and write to the tag of a refill cartridge. In one embodiment, the reader utilizes a multi band pass filter to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. In another embodiment, the controller utilizes an internal comparator to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. The dispenser in both embodiments also includes a pair of transistors that write to the RFID tag of the refill cartridge. A dispenser according to the invention also includes the capability to read and/or write to tags upon cartridges employed by the dispenser, and augmenting the operation of the dispenser as a function thereof. Additionally, a dispenser of variable size is presented that is adaptable, through adjustable partitions or a telescoping cup, to receive and maintain cartridges of various sizes.
Display module and display system
Disclosed is a display module including a transparent display panel and a frame to fix a side of the transparent display panel, wherein the frame has a communication unit to receive data from the outside, a controller to process the received data and to output a drive command corresponding to the processed data and a display drive unit to drive the transparent display panel in response to the drive command from the controller. A display system includes a system body and a display module detachably mounted in the system body.
Methods and systems for identifying product
A method and system for identifying product is disclosed. A product identifier having product identifying information for one of a plurality of consumable products is provided. The product identifier is selected for a consumable product. The product identifier is displayed at or near a location on a dispensing system, or where access to the consumable product is provided. The system uses a product identifier having product and/or brand information for one or more consumable products. A window is provided in a body of a dispenser or other member of a dispensing system for viewing the product identifier associated with the consumable product therein.
ROTARY SCREEN DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE ROTARY SCREEN DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of rotary screen, and provides a rotary screen device and a method for controlling the rotary screen device. The rotary screen device includes a transparent window, a display panel, a panel support frame, a rotating housing, a main board, and a base, the main board is provided with a Hall sensor, a magnet, and a roller. The rotary screen device of the present disclosure is compact, easy to operate, and responsive.
Water treatment system
A water treatment system having a base assembly and a treatment assembly. The treatment assembly of the system may be configured to filter particulates from water. The base assembly may include a UV reactor operable to disinfect water for consumption.
DOOR HANDLE DISPLAY MEMBER
A door handle display member including a first bracket assembly and a graphics panel. The first bracket assembly is configured to releasably engage a door handle and includes a first member, a second member, and a third member. The first member has a first leg and a second leg. The second member is configured to releasably engage the first leg and the second leg of the first member. The third member is configured to threadably engage the first leg and the second leg of the first member, and is configured to releasably engage the second member. The graphics panel is configured to releasably engage the first bracket assembly.
LIGHT PIPE TEXTURING INTENSITY GRADIENT FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The invention is an illumination system for a logo (20) on the front of an electronic device (1) such as a set top box. The logo (20) is part of a light pipe (23) and the logo (20) is illuminated by projecting light on the front surface (24) of the light pipe (23). The front surface (24) is textured or tinted to evenly distribute the light to a viewer. The light source (11) for illuminating the logo (20) is positioned at an entrance end of the light pipe (23) as shown in the figure. The shape of the light pipe (23) is substantially uniform throughout the length of the light pipe (23) and the shape is substantially the shape of the logo (20). The light pipe (23) can have a cut away region near the front surface to create localized lighting contrasts.
Illuminating display window and merchandiser display unit comprising same
An illuminating display window has a window pane and a graphic element including fluorescent material. The graphic element has a major surface facing forward and a perimeter surface extending transverse to the major surface. An electromagnetic radiation source is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation to the perimeter surface of the graphic element. The radiation includes electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength in a non-visible spectrum. The graphic element fluoresces in response to the non-visible radiation to transmit visible light to an observer in front of the window pane. To form the graphic element, fluorescent ink can be deposited on a panel in a predefined pattern or a fluorescent panel could be shaped to have a predefined shape.
