A method for the targeted conveying of information to individuals using cooking appliances and/or to at least one cooking appliance of a cooking appliance manufacturer, the method having the following method steps: determining by the cooking appliance manufacturer the usage behavior of the customer(s) and/or the operating behaviour of the cooking appliance(s) and/or transferring to the cooking appliance manufacturer the usage behaviour of the individual(s) and/or the operating behaviour of the cooking appliance(s); saving at the cooking appliance manufacturer the determined usage behaviours of the customer or the operating behaviour of the cooking appliance(s) (GG2, GG3); receiving information sent by cooperation partners of the cooking appliance manufacturer and/or receiving information established internally at the business; evaluating by the cooking appliance manufacturer the receiving information taking into consideration the saved usage or operating behavior to determine which of the items of received information and/or information established internally at the business could be of interest for which individuals or for which cooking appliance; and conveying the determined information of potential interest to the corresponding individual(s) and/or to the corresponding cooking appliance.

Provided is an electric device including: a main body comprising a storage chamber with an opening; a door coupled to the main body and comprising a transparent display panel such that the transparent display panel covers at least a part of the opening when the door is closed; a movement detector being configured to detect a movement of the transparent display panel and output a movement detection signal corresponding to the movement; and a controller configured to identify a position of the transparent display panel based on the movement detection signal, and control the transparent display panel to reverse an image displayed on the transparent display panel based on the identified position of the transparent display panel being changed from a first position to a second position.

Indicator signs adapted for internal use in hot and/or humid environments have been developed. The indicator signs are suitable for use inside dishwashing machines, steam chambers, sterilization machines, autoclaves and the like where they are hidden from view and safe from external forces that could render the information provided by the sign inaccurate.

A dishwasher appliance and viewable cleaning agent assembly are disclosed herein. The dispensing assembly may include an internal wall, a front cover, a light guide, and a light source. The internal wall may define a storage volume for the receipt of a wash fluid therein. The front cover may selectively cover the storage volume to restrict access thereto. The front cover may be positioned between the storage volume and the wash chamber when the door is in the closed position. The light guide may extend along an axial direction from a forward display surface in front of the storage volume to a rearward contact surface within the storage volume. A point-of-sale advertising system for use with a display case having a front glass sheet positioned in front of a cavity for accepting goods, the system containing a transparent LCD positioned behind the front glass sheet, and a plurality of LEDs positioned adjacent to one pair of opposing edges of the LCD and arranged so that light which is emitted from the LEDs is directed backwards towards the cavity. Further embodiments may also contain a door assembly and frame surrounding the front glass sheet and LCD, a switch positioned to determine when the door assembly is open or closed, and electrical circuitry adapted to turn off the LEDs when the door is open and turn on the LEDs when the door is closed.

An illumination structure for an electronic device is described. The electronic device includes a housing mounted on a printed circuit board. The housing has a plurality of light pipes and at least one separator disposed therein. The at least one separator is positioned between adjacent light pipes of the plurality of light pipes.

A color of the reflector is changeable according to a temperature thereof, and the reflector is positioned to reflect light incident on the reflector from outside the display apparatus. The heat radiator generates heat to control the temperature of the reflector, and the illumination sensing unit senses an illumination value of light incident on the display apparatus from outside. The controller controls the heat radiator to change the temperature of the reflector according to the illumination value sensed by the illumination sensing unit.
