PIXEL-ADDRESSABLE DISPLAY HAVING CURVABLE AREA
A control circuit of a pixel-addressable display corrects a brightness of a pixel element of a pixel circuit of the display based on a curvature of a curvable area of the display. The control circuit selectively applies data line voltages to the pixel circuit. The pixel circuit applies a driving voltage to the pixel element based on the data line voltages.
Display system and vehicle
An object is to provide a display system with a novel structure and a vehicle. The display system includes a display and a control IC. The control IC includes a frame memory, an arithmetic circuit, and a memory circuit. The display has a curved display surface. The frame memory has a function of holding first image data dedicated to displaying an image on a flat surface. The memory circuit has a function of storing shape data on the display. The arithmetic circuit has a function of converting first coordinates of the curved display surface into second coordinates of the flat surface included in the first image data, by performing arithmetic operation in accordance with the shape data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of outputting the first image data stored in the frame memory to the display as second image data on the basis of the second coordinates.
Curved display panel and method for manufacturing curved display panel
A curved display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The curved display panel includes a plurality of clock buses, the clock buses extend along a first direction and are arranged along a second direction, the widths of the plurality of clock buses are different in the second direction, so that capacitance values between several clock buses and a clock signal line disconnected from the several clock buses are the same.
Display device
A display device including a display panel that includes a display area including pixels and a non-display area around the display area. The display area may include a flat display area and at least one bending display area, and the display panel includes at least one crack detection line disposed in the at least one bending display area.
Method for determining imaging ratio of flexible panel electronic device and storage medium
Method for determining imaging ratio of flexible panel, electronic device and storage medium are provided. A first surface of the flexible panel is adapted to be placed with an object to be imaged, an image capturing device is disposed on the second surface, and a curvature radius of the first surface is adjustable. The method includes: for a light source in the image capturing device, acquiring a real-time image formed on the image capturing device after a light signal emitted from the light source is reflected by the first surface; determining a real-time curvature radius of the first surface based on the real-time image; and calculating the imaging ratio based on the real-time curvature radius and thickness of the flexible panel. The imaging ratio is determined based on bending degree of the flexible panel in real time to acquire an image with size approximate to actual size of the object.
Vehicle analysis environment with displays for vehicle sensor calibration and/or event simulation
A vehicle analysis environment includes one or more display screens, such as a display screen wall or an array of display screens. While a vehicle is in the vehicle analysis environment, a vehicle analysis system renders and displays one or more vehicle sensor calibration targets and/or one or more simulated events on the one or more display screens. Vehicle sensors of the vehicle capture sensor data while in the vehicle analysis environment. The sensor data depict the vehicle sensor calibration targets and/or the simulated events that are displayed on the one or more display screens. The vehicle can output actions based on the simulated event and/or can calibrate its vehicle sensors based on the vehicle sensor calibration targets.
Three-dimensional kinetic shape display for providing vehicle information
A three-dimensional kinetic shape display for a vehicle includes one or more pixels for conveying information related to operation of the vehicle. The one or more pixels each include a plurality of moveable members that each have an actuation element for translating the moveable member. The three-dimensional kinetic shape display also includes one or more controllers providing instructions to move the actuation element. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive data indicating an event related to operation of the vehicle, and in response to receiving data indicating the event, instruct the actuation element to translate the moveable member in a direction that is indicative of the event related to operation of the vehicle.
Display System and Vehicle
A display system and vehicle that have novel structures are provided. The display system includes a display panel, a correction circuit, and a memory circuit. The display panel is flexible. The display panel includes a display region and a non-display region. The memory circuit has a function of storing first data about the display region and second data about the non-display region. The non-display region has a region which overlaps with the display region when the display panel is bent. The correction circuit has a function of generating image data to be written to pixels in the display region on the basis of the first data and the second data.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY OF ALERT
An input unit receives a first image that captures a scene in front of a vehicle or a scene in front of a user on board a vehicle at a first point of time. A generator generates a third image showing a result of prediction of the scene in front at the first point of time, based on a second image that captures the scene in front at a second point of time preceding the first point of time. A display controller controls display of information presentation based on a result of comparison between the first image received by the input unit and the third image generated by the generator using a predetermined criterion.
Display device, display panel and manufacturing method thereof
An electronic device includes a display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate disposed on the first substrate. Each of the first substrate and the second substrate includes a curved surface. The second substrate has a display surface including a first region and a second region with different curvatures. The display panel outputs a first light in the first region, having a first normal brightness in a normal view angle and a first oblique brightness in an oblique view angle, and a second light, having a second normal brightness in the normal view angle and a second oblique brightness in the oblique view angle. A ratio of a difference between the first normal brightness and the second normal brightness to the first normal brightness is less than a ratio of a difference between the first oblique brightness and the second oblique brightness to the first oblique brightness.
