BURN-IN STATISTICS AND BURN-IN COMPENSATION
An electronic display pipeline may process image data for display on an electronic display. The electronic display pipeline may include burn-in compensation statistics collection circuitry and burn-in compensation circuitry. The burn-in compensation statistics collection circuitry may collect image statistics based at least in part on the image data. The statistics may estimate a likely amount of non-uniform aging of the sub-pixels of the electronic display. The burn-in compensation circuitry may apply a gain to sub-pixels of the image data to account for non-uniform aging of corresponding sub-pixels of the electronic display. The applied gain may be based at least in part on the image statistics collected by the burn-in compensation statistics collection circuitry.
Plural display plural information handling system sharing
Display status agents executing on plural information handling systems coordinate presentation of visual images at plural displays by plural information handling systems through a display status memory external to the plural information handling systems, such as at a network location, a docking station or the displays. By referencing the display status memory, each display status agent determines information handling systems interfaced with each display and selects displays to present visual information based upon end user preferences to minimize manual interactions by an end user to accomplish a desired display presentation configuration.
Modifying Graphics Rendering by Transcoding a Serialized Command Stream
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for modifying graphics rendering by transcoding a serialized command stream. An embodiment operates by receiving a command configured to instruct an API to render a graphics element. The embodiment further operates by generating, based on the command, a transcoded command configured to instruct the API to render a modified graphics element by applying a set of modification factors to a portion of the command. Subsequently, the embodiment operates by transmitting the transcoded command to the API.

An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium that access a frame buffer of a graphics processing unit (GPU), analyze, in the frame buffer, a frame representing displayed data, based on the analyzed frame, identify a reference patch that includes an instruction to retrieve content, generate an overlay including an augmentation layer which includes the content, superimpose the overlay onto the displayed data such that the content is viewable while a portion of the base layer is obscured, detect a user input, determine a location of the user input in the augmentation layer, associate the location in the augmentation layer with a target location in the base layer, and associate, within memory, the target location with an operation such that the user input in the augmentation layer activates an input in the base layer.

Controlling embedded image data in a smart display
A method and apparatus for controlling embedded raw image data within a display having internal memory. The method includes sending a frame of code and a final compilation of raw image data to the internal memory of the display from a primary host processor prior to the primary host processor entering a sleep state. When the primary host processor has entered a sleep state, control of the raw image data is redirected to at least one secondary host processor. The secondary host processor reads the frame of code within the internal memory of the display and instructs the display to perform an image-related behavior output that may include updating the display itself based on the frame of code found in the internal memory of the display.

A method for operating computing devices (CDs) to display an electronic document (ED), including: obtaining, by a first CD having a first touchscreen, a first plurality of screen coordinates associated with a first portion of a first gesture performed by a user; obtaining, by the first CD and from a second CD having a second touchscreen, a second plurality of screen coordinates associated with a second portion of the first gesture performed by the user; determining, by the first CD and based on the first plurality of screen coordinates and the second plurality of screen coordinates, an alignment of the first touchscreen and the second touchscreen; and displaying, by the first CD and based on the alignment, a first segment of the ED on the first touchscreen, where the second CD displays a second segment of the ED on the second touchscreen while the first segment is displayed.
