Display driving circuit and display device including the same
A display driving circuit and a display device including the same are provided. The display driving circuit includes a source driver which applies source data to a display panel, a power supply unit which receives an external voltage from a power module to generate an internal voltage and a logic unit which is supplied with the internal voltage to control the source driver, wherein the logic unit includes a voltage variable determination logic which determines whether a supply voltage including the internal voltage and the external voltage is changed, thereby generating a voltage variable signal, and a voltage control logic which receives the voltage variable signal to change the supply voltage.
Macro-pixel display backplane
A micro-light emitting diode (micro-LED) display backplane includes a plurality of macro-pixels. Each macro-pixel includes: a contiguous two-dimensional (2-D) array of bitcells storing display data bits for driving a set of micro-LEDs of a 2-D array of micro-LEDs; and drive circuits configured to generate, based on the display data bits stored in the contiguous 2-D array of bitcells, pulse-width modulated (PWM) drive signals for driving the set of micro-LEDs of the 2-D array of micro-LEDs. In one example, the plurality of macro-pixels is grouped into a plurality of sub-arrays, where each sub-array of the plurality of sub-arrays includes a set of macro-pixels and a local periphery circuit next to the set of macro-pixels. The local periphery circuit includes, for example, a buffer, a repeater, a clock gating circuit for gating an input clock signal to the sub-array, and/or a sub-array decoder for selecting the sub-array.
Electronic book
An e-book reader in which destruction of a driver circuit at the time when a flexible panel is handled is inhibited. In addition, an e-book reader having a simplified structure. A plurality of flexible display panels each including a display portion in which display control is performed by a scan line driver circuit and a signal line driver circuit, and a binding portion fastening the plurality of display panels together are included. The signal line driver circuit is provided inside the binding portion, and the scan line driver circuit is provided at the edge of the display panel in a direction perpendicular to the binding portion.
Flexible display device and method of controlling same
A flexible display device is provided. The flexible display device includes: a display; a sensor configured to detect at least one rolling characteristic in response to the display being rolled; and a controller configured to perform a first function of the flexible display device based on the detected at least one rolling characteristic.
Information handling system notification presentation based upon user presence detection
End user presence and absence states are determined at an information handling system by analyzing infrared time of flight sensor presence detection information and applying it to manage presentation of notifications at the information handling system, such as operating system notifications and hardware notifications. Notifications are queued when a predetermined user absence state is detected and presented when a predetermined user presence state is detected to that an end user has a greater probability of viewing notifications when the display presents visual images before sleeping for an end user absence and after waking from an end user presence.
IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
An image display device of the present invention comprises a display and a power supply unit, and the power supply unit comprises: a first voltage detection unit that detects an input AC voltage by using a first resistance element; a second voltage detection unit that detects an input AC voltage by using a differential circuit having a capacitor element and a second resistance element; a converter that converts the level of the input voltage on the basis of a switching operation of a switching element so as to output a DC voltage; and a control unit that may control the switching element in the converter to be turned on, on the basis of a first signal detected by the first voltage detection unit or a second signal detected by the second voltage detection unit. As such, the present invention operates stably even when an AC voltage of a square wave is applied.
Ocular focus sharing for digital content
A position within displayed digital content that a user is ocularly focused on (e.g., where within displayed content the user is looking) may be determined. Digital content comprising a visual indication of the position may be rendered. The visual indication of the position may be displayed on the same display that the user is looking at and/or a different display. In some embodiments, the position may be determined based on data generated by a sensor physically attached to the user. Additionally or alternatively, the position may be determined based on data generated by a stationary computing device comprising a sensor configured to track changes in ocular position of the user. In some embodiments the digital content may comprise digital images and/or video (e.g., broadcast content, on-demand content, images and/or video associated with a computer application, or the like).
Brightness adjustment method and device, and storage medium
The present disclosure relates to a brightness adjustment method and device, and a storage medium. The method can include detecting a brightness of an environment where a mobile terminal is located to acquire a brightness value. When a decrease of the brightness value acquired at a present moment relative to the brightness value acquired at a previous moment reaches a first preset value, a radar wave is transmitted, and an echo of the radar wave is detected. The method determines whether there is an occlusion causing the decrease of the acquired brightness value according to a transmitting parameter of the radar wave and an echo parameter of the echo. When there is no occlusion, display brightness of the mobile terminal is adjusted according to the brightness value acquired at the present moment. When the occlusion is present, the display brightness of the mobile terminal at the present moment is maintained.
Unlimited pixel canvas for LED video walls
Methods, systems and devices for displaying video content on large, high resolution video walls, which may comprise a mesh network of an array of display tiles with redundant network switching, in which a virtual, unlimited pixel canvas is created in a video controller memory to facilitate packetizing and addressing of video content packets for delivery to the video wall through a packet-switched network. Embodiments disclosed are particularly well-suited for use with video walls employing LED tiles.
Image data processing apparatus and display device for controlling local dimming
The present disclosure may improve contrast and deep black by efficiently controlling local dimming in consideration of the ratio of a black image data and the non-uniformity in the area between blocks.
