Reconstructing freeform gradients from an input image
Embodiments are disclosed for reconstructing freeform gradients from an input image. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods comprise receiving an input image, computing an outline of the input image, identifying a set of candidate color handles for the input image, each candidate color handle of the set of candidate color handles representing an extremum point for a color in the input image, generating a reconstructed image using a subset of the set of candidate color handles, determining a reconstruction error by computing a difference between the input image and the reconstructed image, and providing the reconstructed image when the reconstruction error is below a threshold value.
Methods, systems, and media for modifying user interface colors in connection with the presentation of a video
Methods, systems, and media for modifying user interface colors are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving a video and color palette information, wherein each color of the color palette information indicates a color of an element of a user interface in which the video is to be presented; identifying a first color for the element, wherein the first color corresponds to a first portion of the video; causing the first portion of the video to be presented, wherein the element of the user interface having the first color is presented; identifying a second color for the element, wherein the second color corresponds to a second portion of the video; and modifying an appearance of the element by changing the color of the element from the first color to the second color while presenting the second portion of the video.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
[Object] Provided is an information processing apparatus that is able to provide consistent image quality even if a distance from a display apparatus varies within a projection region. [Solving Means] The information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a transformation matrix calculation section, a scale calculation section, and an input display generation section. The transformation matrix calculation section calculates a transformation matrix that converts the coordinates of an input position of an input device within a projection region projected from a display apparatus from the coordinates of an image coordinate system of a sensor apparatus having detected the input position to the coordinates of a screen coordinate system of the display apparatus. The scale calculation section calculates a scale correction value for a display mode of the locus of the input position in reference to distance information regarding the distance between the display apparatus and the input position. The input display generation section generates an input image depicting the locus of the input position through the use of the transformation matrix and the scale correction value.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND IMAGE PROJECTION METHOD
An image processing apparatus generates, from a mixed image of projection images projected from a plurality of projection devices, separated images for respective pieces of color information, on the basis of a color model. For the color model, the pieces of color information of the projection images changed according to spectral characteristics of the projection devices and an image pickup device for acquiring the captured image and an attenuation coefficient are used as parameters, and a color separation processing section generates the separated images for the respective pieces of color information on the basis of the color model, by using parameters that minimize the difference between the color information of the captured image and color information estimated by the color model. The image processing apparatus becomes able to accurately separate projection images from the captured image of the mixed image including a plurality of projection images.
Electronic device and control method thereof
An electronic device comprises a plurality of display devices, a designation unit that designates one of a plurality of predetermined color balances for which adjustment values of the plurality of display devices are set in advance, and an adjustment unit that adjusts color balances of the plurality of display devices. The adjustment unit performs a first adjustment for adjusting the color balances of the plurality of display devices using adjustment values of the color balance designated by the designation unit, and a second adjustment for adjusting the color balances of the plurality of display devices that have undergone the first adjustment, wherein resolution of the second adjustment is higher than resolution of the first adjustment.

Display apparatus, image processing apparatus, and control method
A display apparatus includes a display screen, and a controller that causes the display screen to display a composite image in which a first image acquired by imaging a space by a camera and a second image representing at least one type of aerosol existing in the space are combined. The position of the at least one type of aerosol as seen in a depth direction in the first image is reflected in the second image.

System and method for a multi-primary wide gamut color system
Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. One embodiment of the multi-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
