Display apparatus and remote operation control apparatus

A display apparatus includes two cameras and detects a second point and a third point with respect to a first point from photographed video, the first point indicating a camera reference position, the second point indicating a user reference position, the third point indicating a position of a finger of the user; sets a virtual plane space to a fourth point in a space, the fourth point being positioned apart from the second point by a predetermined length in a first direction; determines a predetermined operation on a basis of a degree of entrance of the finger with respect to the virtual plane space; controls an operation of the display apparatus on a basis of operational input information; determines an adjusting operation against the virtual plane space by the user; and changes at least one of a position, a size, or inclination of the virtual plane space in real time.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODULATING USER INPUT IMAGE COMMANDS AND/OR POSITIONS ON A GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE (GUI) BASED ON A USER GUI VIEWING DIRECTION AND/OR FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY DISPLAYING MULTIPLE GUIs VIA THE SAME DISPLAY

There is provided a system for modulating user commands via command input images displayed on a graphical user interface based on a user viewing direction relative to the displayed command input images and the graphical user interface. The system uses an image capturing device for capturing real time images of a user's face, eyes and irises and determines the eye orientation. The system separates the graphical user interface into interface portions and determines a correlation between the eye orientation and one or more portions to determine if any of the foregoing are viewed portions. The system determines whether a viewed portion contains a command input image and only allows user input commands via the command input image to be processed if the image is within a viewed portion. The system can modulate a position of a command input image displayed on a graphical user interface and movable thereon based on a user viewing direction relative to graphical user interface thereby moving an input image from a first position to a second position that corresponds to a viewed interface portion. The system provides for simultaneously displaying multiple graphical user interfaces via the same display, whether the multiple graphical user interfaces are hosted by one or more remote host controllers.

Systems and methods for controlling a navigational object (e.g., a cursor) using an input device are disclosed herein. A system in accordance with one embodiment includes a motion-based input device adapted to move relative to a surface. The input device has one or more force sensors capable of detecting forces acting upon the input device. The system may then move a navigational object displayed on a receiving device in relatively small increments or relatively large increments, depending upon the detected forces acting upon the input device.

Method for viewing a presentation document in a mobile device and a system thereof

Provided are a method for viewing a presentation document in a mobile device and a system thereof. The method includes the steps of: determining an orientation of screen according to a sensing signal from a gravity sensor; displaying slide thumbnails of the presentation document at the lower part of the screen in a horizontal arrangement when the screen orientation is portrait; and displaying the slide thumbnails of the presentation document at the left part or the right part of the screen in a vertical arrangement when the screen direction is landscape. When a user opens a presentation document, the method for viewing a presentation document in a mobile device according to the present invention switches display mode of slide thumbnails in the presentation document automatically according to the screen orientation sensed by a gravity sensor, thereby being able to display the slide thumbnails in a more suitable manner according to different screen orientations, and facilitating the viewing and operation of the presentation by a user. The display manner in the method of the present invention better conforms to the psychological expectation of users, and can result in a better user experience.

A data display control program causes a computer to execute: a storing step in which a storage device stores first and second data, the first data being data related to a manufacturing device in operation and being time series data for a period of time including a first date and time; a first display step in which a first display tool causes the first data and a first marking position indicating a second date and time designated to be displayed in a first display area; and a second display step in which a second display tool causes the second data to be displayed in a second display area, reads first marking information from the storage device, and causes the first marking position indicating the second date and time to be displayed in the second display area.

AUTOMATIC DATA TRANSFER IN A MULTI-HOST FLOW-ENABLED SYSTEM

In certain embodiments, a method includes receiving an input signal from an input device (e.g., cursor movement) communicatively paired with the first host computer, where the first host computer is communicatively coupled to a second host computer, determining that data is saved to a virtual clipboard, detecting when the cursor moves to an edge of the display of the first host computer and when the input signal corresponds to continued movement of the cursor beyond the edge of the display of the first host computer, sending a control signal indicating that data is saved to a virtual clipboard, receiving a request for the data saved to the virtual clipboard, and sending, by the first host computer to the second host computer, the data saved to the virtual clipboard.
