IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image data acquirement section of an image processing apparatus acquires data regarding a frame of a moving image generated by a server. A decoding/decompression section repeats a cycle of a decoding/decompression process for each of frames at a rate higher than the frame rate of the moving image. An image processing section repeats a cycle of applying a necessary image process to each of the frames at the rate higher than the frame rate of the moving image. The display control section outputs the data regarding the frame ready for displaying to a display panel at the rate higher than the frame rate of the moving image.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD
An information processing apparatus avoids interference of rays of light to be emitted from respective terminals for performing distance measurement, thereby preventing decrease in accuracy of depth information acquired through the distance measurement by each terminal. The information processing apparatus includes a first light emission unit configured to perform light emission of invisible light for performing distance measurement, a first acquisition unit configured to acquire depth information of a real space on the basis of the light emission by the first light emission unit, a control unit configured to control the light emission by the first light emission unit, and a communication unit. The communication unit performs communication with another information processing apparatus including a second light emission unit configured to perform light emission of invisible light for performing distance measurement and a second acquisition unit configured to acquire depth information of a real space on the basis of the light emission by the second light emission unit. The control unit performs control causing the first light emission unit to perform the light emission at a timing not overlapping a light emission timing of the second light emission unit, on the basis of the communication with the other information processing apparatus through the communication unit.
Display apparatus and display method
An image display system includes a first terminal device and with a second terminal device whose usable function range is smaller than a usable function range of the first terminal device. The image display system includes a display projection unit, a communication unit that establishes wireless connection with the first and second terminal devices, a control unit that manages the wireless connection, and a connection control image generating unit. The control unit and the connection control image generating unit generate a terminal connection image including information for connecting the second terminal device with the image display system, based on terminal connection permission information that assigns the second terminal device whose wireless connection with the display system is permitted, the terminal connection permission information being transmitted from the first terminal device. The display projection unit displays the terminal connection image.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEAMLESS MODE TRANSITION BETWEEN COMMAND MODE AND VIDEO MODE
A method of seamlessly switching over between the command mode and the video mode includes receiving a command for switching over from the command mode to the video mode; generating a sampling value by measuring a time interval between a point in time of an internal synchronization signal used in the command mode and a point in time of an external synchronization signal received in the video mode; generating a parameter for shifting the internal synchronization signal based on the sampling value; shifting the internal synchronization signal to synchronize with the external synchronization signal based on the parameter; and switching over from the command mode to the video mode when the internal synchronization signal of the command mode synchronizes with the external synchronization signal. According to the disclosure, while driving a display.

Synchronous Display Pipeline Systems and Methods
An electronic device may include a first display pipeline that may output image data via an output path. The electronic device may include first frame merge circuitry coupled to the output path. The electronic device may also include a first multiplexer coupled to the first frame merge circuitry and to the output path. The first multiplexer may transmit the image data from the output path to an electronic display, and, in response to a first control signal associated with the first frame merge circuitry generating a merged output, the first multiplexer transmits the merged output to the electronic display.

An interactive device is described that is configured to: display an output of a remote device, wherein an output delay exists between the output being generated by the remote device and the output being displayed on the interactive device, generate an interaction data in dependence on an interaction with the interactive device at a location, transmit the interaction data to the remote device, display an updated output of the remote device, the updated output being generated by the remote device subsequent to receiving the interaction data, wherein the interactive device being further configured to: generate an interaction image of an area of the updated output of the remote device corresponding to the location of the interaction, determine an interaction indication in dependence on the interaction image, displaying an interaction indication on the interactive device at a location of one or more further interactions with the interactive device.
System for Controlling Display Device on Basis of Identified Capture Range
To provide a display control system in which a terminal device and a display device operate in tandem. The display control system comprises a terminal device 10 having an image-capture unit, a display device 50 for displaying video, and a control device 20 for controlling the display device 50. The terminal device 10 or the control device 20 identifies a capture range in video displayed by the display device 50 on the basis of an image captured by the image-capture unit. The control device 50 controls the display state of the video displayed by the display device 50 on the basis of the identified capture range. This configuration allows for interactive special effects such as making an object in the capture range of the terminal device 10 disappear from the video or making objects in the capture range of the terminal device 10 appear in the video.
