Flat self-luminous touch switch
A flat self-luminous touch switch, including: a self-luminous touch unit, including at least one flat self-luminous pixel and a pixel driving interface; and a switch control unit, including a first driving interface and a second driving interface, wherein, the first driving interface is coupled with the pixel driving interface to provide at least one pixel driving signal and transmit a touch detection signal; and the second driving interface provides an analog switch channel and/or at least one digital output signal according to a detection result of the touch detection signal.
Logic graph displaying apparatus and logic graph display method, both for use with molding machines
A logging data about a signal identifier of the I/O signals which changed in on/off state are stored in a ring buffer. A logging screen includes identifier display parts, logic-graph display parts and first and second cursors. The logic-graph display parts display logic graphs associated with signal identifiers, respectively. When any one of the identifier display parts displayed on the logging screen is clicked, the logging screen is changed to an input window. If a desired input identifier is input in the input window, the logging data associated with the signal identifier is read from the ring buffer and the logic graph is displayed in the logic-graph display parts. The logic graph can be modified.
Virtual monitor display technique for augmented reality environments
Methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are described herein related to a virtual monitor display technique for augmented reality environments targeted at allowing a user of a display-enabled computing device to substitute their conventional hardware-realized display screen with a virtualized display screen of equal or better usability characteristics than the hardware-realized device. A virtual screen is rendered via a micro display in an augmented reality environment to a human user wearing a see through head mountable device. The system architecture makes use of liquid lens technology in order to adjust the relative position of the display as well as the focal distance by optical means only thereby ensuring that the virtual screen is rendered at the maximum resolution of the micro display at all times. The system architecture also comprises an occlusion matrix thereby ensuring that the virtual screen is free of ghosting. The system is configured in such a way that a display auto-hide function is triggered whenever certain threshold parameters are exceeded. The virtual monitor display technique described herein has been designed with the aim of reducing the effects simulator sickness during prolonged use of the virtual display.
ESCAPE INDICATOR DISPLAY SYSTEM, READING METHOD THEREOF, AND ESCAPE INDICATOR IMAGE GENERATION AND DISPLAY METHOD
An escape indicator display system includes a storage unit, a display unit and a control unit. The storage unit includes a database, plural datarows in the database, a code corresponsive to each datarow and having at least one field, escape indication information in the field and including plural pieces of image information, text information, color information or size information. The control unit is coupled between the display unit and the storage unit for selecting a country or district name, and the reads the datarow of the code corresponsive to the country or district name from the database by the processor, and displays the escape indication information in the field on the display unit, so as to detect the location of the system and display the escape indicator image according to local escape indicator regulations.
Method of displaying text of electronic document on screen of information terminal
A method of displaying text of an electronic document on a screen of an information terminal is proposed. The method includes: selecting a specific electronic document by a user; assigning new tags to all text of a corresponding electronic document selected by the user in units of words or letters so as to objectify the text; designating one page of text displayed on a screen of the information terminal by calculating a last word or a last letter at the bottom of that screen that may be displayed on a screen of the information terminal to the extent of not infringing the copyright of the electronic document; and selecting and performing a sequential display mode, a sequential disappearance mode, and an emphasis part designation mode, thereby allowing rapid reading training and enabling quicker review/revision of the parts that have already been studied and understood by a learner.
DISPLAY BANDWIDTH REDUCTION WITH MULTIPLE RESOLUTIONS
A system for reducing bandwidth and/or reducing power consumed by a display may comprise a display having a background plane and a region of interest plane that may be identified by a gaze tracker. The region of interest may be of a higher quality picture. In some embodiments, the display may be a large panel display and in others a head mounted display (HMD).
Content resolution adjustment for passive display devices
Passive display devices such as a passive magnifying device (e.g., a screen magnifier) or a projector (e.g., a built-in mobile phone projector) are useful in enlarging photos, documents, videos, etc. for view for small-sized small-screen device screens. However, optimal content resolution for the small-screen device screens may not be optimal for the passive display devices. Particularly, when a small-screen device receives content from a remote computing device, the initial content resolution may not be optimal even for the small-screen device screen because of low transmission speed and/or low bandwidth of a connection with an original data source. Content resolution adjustment may be performed by determining distance between the passive display device and the small-screen device, calculating magnification ratio for the passive display device, and adjusting the content resolution based on the calculated magnification ratio.
Character string display device and character string display method
There is provided a character string display device including a character string display unit (10) including a plurality of display elements (110) arrayed two-dimensionally, and a display controller (20) configured to cause the character string display unit (10) to display a predetermined character string pattern by controlling display states of the plurality of display elements (110). In the character string display device, the display controller (20) is configured to cause the character string display unit (10) to display the character string pattern such that there is no blank line between consecutive character patterns of the character string pattern and that, when two display elements corresponding to the respective consecutive character patterns are adjacent to each other, a character pattern part corresponding to one of the adjacent display elements (110) is not displayed. The character string display device and a character string display method are simple and low cost, allow effective use of display space, and achieve higher legibility of a character string.
