Image display system and control method for image display system
An image display system includes: a display device; an image supply device coupled to the display device in such a way as to be able to bidirectionally communicate and supplying an image signal; and an operation terminal having a plurality of operation buttons. The operation terminal transmits an operation signal in response to an operation on the operation button. The display device displays a first image supplied from the image supply device and a second image generated by the display device. On receiving the operation signal, the display device decides a degree of priority of the first image and the second image. The display device transmits a signal to stop updating the first image to the image supply device and executes processing based on the second image when the degree of priority of the second image is higher than the degree of priority of the first image.
Playback of media streams in dependence of a time of a day
This disclosure concerns the providing of media, and more particularly to the streaming of media. In accordance with an example embodiment: a portion of a day is determined; a first data message is sent to a computer server system. The first data message comprises instructions to the computer server system to return media content associated with the determined portion of the day. A second data message is received from the computer server system, the second data message comprising media content associated with the determined portion of the day. In response thereto is playback performed of the media content at the user interface of the electronic device in dependence of the determined portion of the day. While performing playback is a visual appearance parameter of the user interface adjusted according the determined portion of the day.
Dynamically gamut adjustable displays
A computing device may include a processor and a display device communicatively coupled to the processor wherein the display device includes a wide gamut mode wherein the wide gamut mode comprises a plurality of different gamut profiles and wherein the display device adjusts from a first gamut profile to a second gamut profile based on a gamut profile associated with an image to be represented on the display device.
DATA PROCESSING DEVICE, DATA DRIVING DEVICE, AND DISPLAY PANEL DRIVING DEVICE FOR DRIVING DISPLAY PANEL
The present disclosure relates to a technology for driving a display panel, wherein setting data for setting an environment of a high-speed communication is transmitted through a low-speed communication before performing a high-speed communication for image data, thereby reducing errors in the high-speed communication and increasing the communication speed.
Flexible display device and method of controlling same
A flexible display device is provided. The flexible display device includes: a display; a sensor configured to detect at least one rolling characteristic in response to the display being rolled; and a controller configured to perform a first function of the flexible display device based on the detected at least one rolling characteristic.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE, AND IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE
An object is to facilitate tone adjustment. For this object, an image processing system according to the present technology includes: a setting value determination unit that determines a setting value of a tone curve characteristic to be applied to a linear image signal having a linear characteristic according to an operation of a user; a tone adjustment unit that applies the tone curve characteristic based on the determined setting value to the linear image signal; and an image signal output unit that outputs, as an output image signal, an image signal after tone curve application obtained by application of the tone curve characteristic to the linear image signal. This configuration facilitates tone adjustment.
Automatically adjusting screen brightness based on screen content
Disclosed are examples for adjusting screen brightness based on screen content being presented on a display screen of a mobile device. The described examples may determine a time at which the screen content is to be evaluated. The screen content is categorized based on the evaluation. A category of the screen content may be input into a machine learning algorithm that may be used to determine whether a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate. If a screen brightness adjustment is appropriate, a degree of the screen brightness adjustment may be determined.
Generating multi-monitor recommendations
Systems and methods for generating multi-monitor recommendations. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include: a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: collect window information during use of the IHS; and create a multi-monitor recommendation based, at least in part, upon the window information.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING FLEXIBLE DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise a housing, a plate coupled to the housing to reciprocate, a flexible display including a first portion disposed on the plate and a second portion extending from the first portion and exposed to an outside or retracted into an inside of the housing as the plate reciprocates, a motor configured to move the plate, at least one electronic component, a battery, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to identify an event for triggering a movement of the plate, identify a first power of the battery and a second power for controlling the flexible display and the at least one electronic component, based on the event, identify a third power for controlling the motor, based on the first power and the second power, and provide the motor with a signal corresponding to the third power.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING DISPLAY DEVICE
A method of controlling a display device includes starting, by a first wireless communicator, first near field wireless communication with induced electricity, receiving configuration information using the first near field wireless communication, starting second near field wireless communication with another display device via a second wireless communicator based on the induced electricity, and transmitting the configuration information using the second near field wireless communication.
