METHODS AND APPARATUS TO FACILITATE REGIONAL PROCESSING OF IMAGES FOR UNDER-DISPLAY DEVICE DISPLAYS
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for display processing. For example, disclosed techniques facilitate regional processing of images for under-display device displays. Aspects of the present disclosure can identify a subsection of a set of frame layers, the identified subsection corresponding to a lower pixel density region, relative to at least one other region, of a display. Aspects of the present disclosure can also blend first pixel data for each frame layer corresponding to the identified subsection to generate second pixel data. Further, aspects of the present disclosure can populate a buffer layer based on the second pixel data. Additionally, aspects of the present disclosure can blend pixel data from the set of frame layers and the buffer layers to generate a blended image. Aspects of the present disclosure can also transmit the blended image for presentment via the display.
Video display control apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A video display control apparatus receives a video content generated by a control target device in accordance with a control operation of a user via a network and displays the received video content on a head mount display attached to the user. The video display control apparatus includes a detection unit that detects a change in a direction of face or line of sight related to the control operation and a first display control unit that generates an auxiliary pattern in which at least one of a display position and a display form changes so as to follow the detected change in the direction of the face or the line of sight related to the control operation, superimposes the auxiliary pattern on the video content, and displays the video content on the head mount display.
Synchronous Display Pipeline Systems and Methods
An electronic device may include a first display pipeline that may output image data via an output path. The electronic device may include first frame merge circuitry coupled to the output path. The electronic device may also include a first multiplexer coupled to the first frame merge circuitry and to the output path. The first multiplexer may transmit the image data from the output path to an electronic display, and, in response to a first control signal associated with the first frame merge circuitry generating a merged output, the first multiplexer transmits the merged output to the electronic display.
RENDERING FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Aspects of the subject technology relate to providing frame rate arbitration for electronic devices. Frame rate arbitration can include determining a global frame rate based on frame rate parameters from one or more animation sources, and providing the global frame rate to the animation sources. The frame rate parameters for various animations sources can have differing preferred, minimum, and/or maximum frame rates, and the global frame rate may be determined for concurrent display of multiple animations from the multiple animation sources. In one or more implementations, frame rate arbitration can also be performed based on frame rate parameters from an input source.
Display apparatus and operation method thereof
Provided are a display apparatus and an operation method thereof for preventing image flicker when displaying mixed images: generating a first image corresponding to video content on a first plane, generating, on a second plane, a second image, outputting a mixed image that is a mixture of the first image and the second image, generating a third image on a third plane corresponding to the mixed image, and displaying the third image based on removal of the first image from the display.

In one embodiment, a method may obtain, from an application, (a) an image and (b) a layer frame having a first pose in front of the image. The method may generate, for a first viewpoint associated with a first time, a first display frame by separately rendering the image and the layer frame having the first pose into a display buffer. The method may display the first display frame at the first time. The method may determine an extrapolated pose for the layer frame based on the first pose of the layer frame and a second pose of a previously submitted layer frame. The method may generate, for a second viewpoint associated with a second time, a second display frame by separately rendering the image and the layer frame having the extrapolated pose into the display buffer. The method may display the second display frame at the second time.

An information processing apparatus divides a plurality of objects into objects of interest and objects of non-interest, and generates a projection image of the objects of non-interest integrated into one image and a projection image of the objects of interest. The systems can include a data acquisition component configured to determine the presence of a CBRNE threat; data storage media; and processing circuitry operatively coupled to the data acquisition device and the storage media. Methods for identifying a CBRNE threat are provided. The methods can include: determining the presence of a CBRNE threat using a data acquisition component; and acquiring an image while determining the presence of the CBRNE threat. Methods for augmenting a real-time display to include the location and/or type of CBRNE threat previously identified are also provided. Methods for identifying and responding to CBRNE threats are provided as well.
Controlling interactivity of digital content overlaid onto displayed data via graphics processing circuitry using a frame buffer
An apparatus, method, and computer readable medium that access a frame buffer of a graphics processing unit (GPU), analyze, in the frame buffer, a frame representing displayed data, based on the analyzed frame, identify a reference patch that includes an instruction to retrieve content, generate an overlay including an augmentation layer which includes the content, superimpose the overlay onto the displayed data such that the content is viewable while a portion of the base layer is obscured, detect a user input, determine a location of the user input in the augmentation layer, associate the location in the augmentation layer with a target location in the base layer, and associate, within memory, the target location with an operation such that the user input in the augmentation layer activates an input in the base layer.
