Image processing device and image processing method for high resolution display, and application processor including the same
An image processing device includes a blender and a display quality enhancer. The blender is configured to receive a plurality of layer data, generate first image data by blending the plurality of layer data, the first image data including a plurality of pixel values corresponding to a screen in a display device, and generate pixel map data including a plurality of pixel identifications (IDs) based on the plurality of layer data, the plurality of layer data representing a plurality of images to be displayed on the screen, the plurality of pixel IDs indicating display quality enhancement algorithms to be applied to the plurality of pixel values. The display quality enhancer is configured to generate second image data including a plurality of display quality enhancement pixel values by applying the display quality enhancement algorithms to the plurality of pixel values based on the first image data and the pixel map data.
ADAPTIVE FRONT FLASH VIEW
The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured in low light conditions by a front facing camera is addressed by providing an adaptive front flash system. An adaptive front flash system automatically adjusts configuration parameters of an overlaid view that operates in lieu of a front flash, termed a front flash view. The configuration parameters are adjusted based on characteristics of the output of the digital image sensor of the front facing camera. Examples of configuration parameters of the front flash view include one or more of brightness of the display, color temperature of the front flash view, and transparency of the front flash view.
Ship information display device and method of displaying ship information
A ship information display device is provided, which may include a first processor, a second processor, a graphic processor, and a display. The first processor may generate a first image based on first ship information received from a first ship sensor and generate a screen to be synthesized including the first image and a blank image. The second processor may generate a second image based on second ship information received from a second ship sensor. The graphic processor may generate a synthesized screen including the first image and the second image by replacing the blank image of the screen to be synthesized by the second image generated by the second processor. The display may display the synthesized screen.
Advising apparatus, advising method, and recording medium
A display device includes a biometric information value acquiring portion, a comparing portion, and a subject state determining portion. The biometric information value acquiring portion subsequently acquires a subject's biometric information value. The comparing portion compares a first biometric information value that is subsequently acquired by the biometric information value acquiring portion with a second biometric information value which is different from the first biometric information value that is subsequently acquired by the biometric information value acquiring portion. The subject state determining portion determines that the user could get a certain improvement owing to the treatment on the user on the basis of a comparison result by the comparing portion.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPERIMPOSING VIRTUAL IMAGE ON REAL-TIME IMAGE
Disclosed are systems and methods for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image. A system for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image comprises a real-time image module and a virtual image module. The real-time image module comprises a magnification assembly to generate a real-time image of an object at a first location and a first depth, with a predetermined magnification. The virtual image module generates a virtual image by respectively projecting a right light signal to a viewer's right eye and a corresponding left light signal to a viewer's left eye. The right light signal and the corresponding left light signal are perceived by the viewer to display the virtual image at a second location and a second depth. The second depth is related to an angle between the right light signal and the corresponding left light signal projected to the viewer's eyes. The second depth may be approximately the same as the first depth.
Display device and display program
A display device includes an augmented reality display part that displays a virtual robot that operates in accordance with a predetermined program together with objects in real space, a position detection part that detects the position of a work target in real space by measuring a distance to the work target from the augmented reality display part, and a control part that causes the virtual robot displayed on the augmented reality display part to operate based on the position of the work target detected by the position detection part to perform predetermined work on the work target.
Facilitation of concurrent consumption of media content by multiple users using superimposed animation
Example apparatus, computer-implemented methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media facilitate concurrent consumption of media content by multiple users using superimposed animation. Example instructions, when executed, cause at least one processor of an electronic user device to at least cause a display to present media and a visual representation of a remote individual, the visual representation including at least a portion of a human profile; identify a direction of a gaze of a user of the electronic user device based on signals output by one or more sensors of the electronic user device; and determine whether the gaze of the user is directed toward the display of the media or the display of the visual representation based on the direction of the gaze.
Using augmented reality to assist in device installation
A first image of an electronic device is captured and processed in order to identify the electronic device. After identifying the electronic device, information is downloaded to a mobile device including specific wiring instructions for connecting the electronic device, which are superimposed onto an image of the electronic device to guide a user of the mobile device in wiring the electronic device. A second image of an at least partially wired electronic device may be captured and processed to ascertain whether there are any wiring errors. When wiring errors are found by the remote server, the mobile device receives a message from the remote server indicating the wiring errors that were found.
Image display system and control method for image display system
An image display system includes: a display device; an image supply device coupled to the display device in such a way as to be able to bidirectionally communicate and supplying an image signal; and an operation terminal having a plurality of operation buttons. The operation terminal transmits an operation signal in response to an operation on the operation button. The display device displays a first image supplied from the image supply device and a second image generated by the display device. On receiving the operation signal, the display device decides a degree of priority of the first image and the second image. The display device transmits a signal to stop updating the first image to the image supply device and executes processing based on the second image when the degree of priority of the second image is higher than the degree of priority of the first image.
Wearable display system for portable computing devices
A method and system of providing a wearable expanded display system for portable computing devices is disclosed. The method includes connecting a head-mounted display system to the portable computing device and anchoring a virtual projection of content from the portable computing device to a screen of the portable computing device to provide the user with an augmented reality viewing experience. The virtual projection can present the content in an enlarged view with richer content options than the smaller screen of the portable computing device. The position of the virtual projection will adapt to changes in pose of the screen to maintain the anchored relationship.
