Display assembly with double-sided display module, baffle member, display apparatus and vehicle
A display assembly includes a display device, a first clamping plate and a second clamping plate. The display apparatus has at least one display area, and the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate are disposed on two opposite sides of the display device in a thickness direction thereof. At least one of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate is located on at least one light-emitting side of the display device, and in a clamping plate located on a light-emitting side of the display device, at least a partial region of a portion covering an active area of the display device is in a transparent state. Edges of the first clamping plate and the second clamping plate have at least one adapter portion, and adapter portions are configured to fix the display assembly to an object in an external environment through at least one adapter.
DISPLAY SYSTEM, DISPLAY DEVICE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND IMAGE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD
A display system that can solve the problem of an inadequate band in a connector or transmission path and that enables processing of a high-resolution image signal, includes a display device and an electronic apparatus that is electrically connected to the display device via a connector. The electronic apparatus receives or generates an original image signal indicating an original image that is to be displayed and supplies a plurality of divided image signals each indicating a respective image of a plurality of partial images into which the original image has been divided. The display device displays the original image on the basis of a combined image signal into which the plurality of partial image signals supplied from the electronic apparatus have been combined.
SIGNAL SUPPLY CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a signal supply circuit used for a display device includes a plurality of subpixels each including a memory. The signal supply circuit includes a first mode. The first mode receives first video data in a unit of n bits corresponding to the subpixels from outside, and supplies digital data for the subpixels in a unit of m bits less than n bits to the subpixels based on the first video data.
Methods and system for artifically and dynamically limiting the display resolution of an application
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to provide a method and system for automatically applying artificial limits to display resolutions in a computing system to improve performance. Embodiments are described herein that automatically limits the display resolution of an application executing in a discrete graphics processing unit operating from configurations with limited means of data transfer to the system memory. By automatically limiting the resolution in certain detected circumstances, the rate of generated graphics data may be dramatically increased. Another embodiment is also provided which allows for the automatic detection of an application's initialization and pro-actively limiting the user-selectable resolutions in which the output of the application may be displayed in to a maximum resolution calculated for optimal performance. The application's termination is also detected, whereupon a comprehensive list of supported resolutions becomes available.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PROVIDING SEQUENCE BASED DISPLAY DRIVERS
A display driver device (210) receives a downloadable “sequence” for dynamically reconfiguring displayed image characteristics in an image system. The display driver device comprises one or more storage devices, for example, memory devices, for storing image data (218) and portions of drive sequences (219) that are downloaded and/or updated in real time depending on various inputs (214).
Display apparatus
A display apparatus transmits a picture acquisition request for getting picture information to an external image apparatus connected through a predetermined interface to the display apparatus from the external image apparatus at predetermined intervals and gets a plurality of pieces of picture information from the external image apparatus to be displayed. The plurality of pictures may be switched at predetermined intervals, for example, to be displayed, so that the plurality of pictures may be displayed in a so-called slide show manner. A plurality of pictures for thumbnail may be produced from the plurality of pieces of picture information and be arranged together to be displayed in one picture screen of a display device.
REDUCING LATENCY IN AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) DISPLAYS
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media. for reducing latency in augmented reality displays. A display controller receives, from a GPU, a stream of image pixels of a frame of virtual content to be presented on a display of a display device. The stream of image pixels is received via a high-speed bulk interface that transfers data at least as fast as can be consumed by the display. As the stream of image pixel is received, the display controller converts each respective image pixel from a data format used to transmit the stream of image pixels via the high-speed bulk interface to a data format that is compatible for display by the display. Each converted image pixel is stored in a pixel cell of the display, after which the frame is presented on the display.
Display controller, heads-up image display system and method thereof
The present application relates to a display controller and display system and a method of operating thereof. At a filtering stage display image data are generated on the basis of received pixel-mapped image data. The filtering operation accepts a plurality of pixels out of the received image data as input values to generate a pixel of the display image data as output value. It is further determined whether the plurality of pixels being the input values to the filtering operation are marked. If all pixels thereof are marked, the output pixel being the output value is marked. The marked pixels in the display image data are validated on the basis reference data.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMICALLY GENERATING DIFFERENT USER ENVIRONMENTS WITH SECONDARY DEVICES WITH DISPLAYS OF VARIOUS FORM FACTORS
Exemplary embodiments of methods and systems that dynamically generate different user environments from a handheld device for secondary devices with displays of various form factors are described. In one embodiment, a method includes generating a user environment for the handheld device; auto-detecting a configuration of the secondary device over an interface; generating at least a part of a different second user environment based on the configuration of the secondary device; transmitting the second user environment over the interface; and displaying at least a part of the second user environment on the second display.
System for monitoring a video
A computer-implemented method monitors a video-based graphic. The method includes displaying a video-based graphic. A position of a pointer interaction is monitored. The method includes determining a designation of a pixel of the video-based graphic at a location of the pointer interaction. An action is performed based on the designation of the pixel of the video-based graphic at a location of the pointer interaction.
