In a normal state, a video input interface receives video data. In a setup state, a control input interface receives multiple items of compressed image data, and stores the compressed image data in memory. In the normal state, a decoder reads one item from among the multiple items of compressed image data from the memory according to an instruction signal that indicates graphics data to be displayed, and decodes the compressed image data thus read so as to reproduce the original graphics data before compression. A multiplexer superimposes the graphics data on the video data.

Methods and apparatus for supporting the capture of images of surfaces of an environment visible from a default viewing position and capturing images of surfaces not visible from the default viewing position, e.g., occluded surfaces, are described. Occluded and non-occluded image portions are packed into one or more frames and communicated to a playback device for use as textures which can be applied to a model of the environment where the images were captured. An environmental model includes a model of surfaces which are occluded from view from a default viewing position but which maybe viewed is the user shifts the user's viewing location. Occluded image content can be incorporated directly into a frame that also includes non-occluded image data or sent in frames of a separate, e.g., auxiliary content stream that is multiplexed with the main content stream which communicates image data corresponding to non-occluded environmental portions.

A method and system are configured to generate user-specific information, such as wager-related information, for display on one or more display devices of a user. The system is configured to store user preferences, to determine a location of the user and a configuration of the user's display device(s), and to use the location information and at least one of the user preference information and group information to generate the user-specific information, and to configure the user-specific information based upon the configuration of the user display device(s), wherein when there is more than one user display device, the user-information and configuration thereof may vary for each device.

According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises: a display; a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the display and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to: based on a user interface displayed on the display, determine a first refresh rate for a first area of the display, and a second refresh rate for a second area of the display; and transfer a first signal based on the first refresh rate and a second signal based on the second refresh rate to the display; and wherein the first signal causes the first area to be refreshed at the first refresh rate, the second signal causes the second area to be refreshed at the second refresh rate.

A signal processing circuit, complying with DisplayPort standard and operated in a display device which is as a DisplayPort sink device, includes a main physical circuit, which is configured to receive a first signal from one of a plurality of DisplayPort connectors of the display device connected to a first DisplayPort source device and a plurality of auxiliary physical circuits. Only a first auxiliary physical circuit of the plurality of auxiliary physical circuits is enabled to receive a second signal from the DisplayPort connector connected to the first DisplayPort source device.

A colour processor for mapping an image from source to destination colour gamuts has an input for receiving a source image including a plurality of source colour points expressed according to the source gamut; a colour characterizer configured to, for each source colour point in the source image, determine a position of intersection of a curve with the boundary of the destination gamut; and a gamut mapper configured to, for each source colour point in the source image: if the source colour point lies inside the destination gamut, apply a first translation factor to translate the source colour point to a destination colour point within a first range of values; or if the source colour point lies outside the destination gamut, apply a second translation factor, different to the first translation factor, to translate the source colour point to a destination colour point within a second range of values.

An object is to enhance usability when browsing through a measurement result from a sensor on an external computer. A data relay device includes a first connection part to which one or more sensors are connected, a second connection part to which an industrial network for communication with a control device is connected, a relay memory that temporarily stores first data received from the one or more sensors connected to the first connection part to relay the first data to the control device via the second connection part, a third connection part to which a computer network for communication with an external computer is connected, a creation unit that creates display screen information for use in displaying the first data stored in the relay memory in a predetermined display form, and a provision unit that provides the display screen information to the external computer via the third connection part.
Display-driving apparatus, method, and display apparatus
A display-driving apparatus for driving a display panel having at least two display areas is provided. The apparatus includes a storage device configured to receive and store a group of source data signals corresponding to a frame of image. The apparatus further includes a demultiplexer configured to split the group of source data signals into at least two sub-groups of data signals. Additionally, the apparatus includes a converter configured to convert a signal format of a respective one of the at least two sub-groups of data signals to a displayable format corresponding to the display panel. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a controller configured to transfer the at least two sub-groups of data signals in the displayable format to respective at least two display areas of the display panel to display a frame of image.
Low-latency context switch systems and methods
An electronic device includes a display panel and image processing circuitry. The image processing circuitry receives input image data corresponding to an image to display on the display panel, modifies the input image data by executing a first context task (e.g., lower priority task), and receives a context switch request. The image processing circuitry also pauses modification of the input image data by pausing execution of the first context task and then switches to modifying the input image data by executing a second context task (e.g., higher priority task).
