Hybrid rendering HMI terminal device

A hybrid rendering HMI terminal device (32) is provided with a web browser (321) and an HMI Web Runtime (322). The web browser (321) displays an HMI screen on which a first part and a second part that represent the state of a monitoring target device (7) are arranged. When signal data from the monitoring target device (7) is analog numerical data, a WebGL rendering processing unit (322i) renders the first part associated with the signal data by WebGL rendering. When signal data from the monitoring target device (7) is data other than analog numerical data, an SVG rendering processing unit (322h) renders the second part associated with the signal data by SVG rendering.

Second graphics processing unit is configured to: process pose-tracking data, to determine device pose and velocity and/or acceleration with which device pose is changing; execute rendering application(s) to generate framebuffer data corresponding to image frame; and send, to first graphics processing unit, framebuffer data and information indicative of device pose and velocity and/or acceleration. First graphics processing unit is configured to: execute first compositing application to post-process framebuffer data, based at least on said information; and drive light source(s) using post-processed framebuffer data to display image frame.

ACTIVITY-FOCUSED DISPLAY SYNCHRONIZATION
20230206884 · 2023-06-29 ·

This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for data synchronization. The present implementations more specifically relate to adjusting a rate at which display updates are output to a digital display based on an activity level associated with the digital display. For example, digital displays that render images with relatively little motion or user engagement may be associated with lower activity levels, whereas digital displays that render images with more significant motion or user engagement may be associated with higher activity levels. In some aspects, an adaptive display interface may dynamically increase the rate at which display frames are output to a display when the activity level increases and may dynamically decrease the rate at which display frames are output to the display when the activity level decreases.

Automatic targeting of browser content to optimal rendering engine

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for content driven selection of a rendering engine. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for or content driven selection of a rendering engine can include retrieving content for display in a content browser executing in memory by a processor of a host computer, mapping at least one directive embedded in the retrieved content to a target rendering engine, selecting the target rendering engine for rendering the content, and passing the content to the selected target rendering engine. In this regard, in an aspect of the embodiment, multiple directives embedded in the retrieved content can be mapped, each to one of a selection of different target rendering engines, and a most often mapped one of the target rendering engines can be selected for rendering the content.

Light field displays having synergistic data formatting, re-projection, foveation, tile binning and image warping technology

Systems, methods and apparatuses may provide for technology to reduce rendering overhead associated with light field displays. The technology may conduct data formatting, re-projection, foveation, tile binning and/or image warping operations with respect to a plurality of display planes in a light field display.

In a data processing system that includes a graphics processor and a video processor, graphics textures for use by the graphics processor are stored as encoded frames of video data. The video processor then decodes the video frames to reproduce the graphics texture(s) that the video frames encode, and stores the decoded graphics texture or textures in memory for use by the graphics processor.

The graphics processor then reads the decoded graphics textures for use when generating its render outputs, such as output frames for display.
