The server VSYNC signal corresponding to generation of video frames during frame periods for the server VSYNC frequency. The method including setting, at a client, a client VSYNC signal to a client VSYNC frequency. The method including sending compressed video frames from the server to the client over a network using the server VSYNC signal, wherein the compressed video frames are based on the generated video frames. The method including decoding and displaying, at the client, the compressed video frames. The method including analyzing the timing of one or more client operations to adjust the relative timing between the server VSYNC signal and the client VSYNC signal, as the client receives the compressed video frames.
Display device and multi-display system
A display device includes: a video playback unit configured to play video media including multiple frames; a first memory unit configured to store a video signal of the video media that is being played; an acquisition unit configured to acquire a readout control signal representing a readout timing for playing each frame in the video media in a first display device different from an own display device in a multi-display system formed from multiple display devices; a readout control unit configured to cause frames of the video signal corresponding to the readout controls signal to be sequentially read out from the first memory unit in accordance with the acquired readout control signal; and a display control circuit configured to display, on a display unit, the frames of the video signal that have been read out.
Frame Replay with Selectable Taps
Systems, methods, and devices are provided to selectively perform a frame replay at various stages of an image processing pipeline for an electronic display. Image processing circuitry may include first compensation circuitry that compensates for a first compensation factor relating to a first physical parameter of an electronic display and second compensation circuitry that compensates for a second compensation factor relating to a second physical parameter of the electronic display. A first tap point that enables the image frame to be stored and reused may be located between the first compensation circuitry and the second compensation circuitry, while a second tap point may be located after the second compensation circuitry.
Control method for magnifying display screen and associated display system
A display system includes a display device. The display device is arranged to receive a video signal and a control signal from a host system, and includes a processing circuit and a display screen, wherein the processing circuit is arranged to process an original frame corresponding to the video signal according to the control signal, to generate a magnified frame, and generate a processed frame according to the magnified frame and the original frame, and the display screen is coupled to the processing circuit, and is arranged to display the processed frame.
WIRELESS PROGRAMMABLE MEDIA PROCESSING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the subject matter described herein relate to a wireless programmable media processing system. In the media processing system, a processing unit in a computing device generates a frame to be displayed based on a graphics content for an application running on the computing device. The frame to be displayed is then divided into a plurality of block groups which are compressed. The plurality of compressed block groups are sent to a graphics display device over a wireless link. In this manner, both the generation and the compression of the frame to be displayed may be completed at the same processing unit in the computing device, which avoids data copying and simplifies processing operations. Thereby, the data processing speed and efficiency is improved significantly.
Display driver IC and display device including the same
A display driver integrated circuit (IC) includes a logic module sequentially issuing read commands including a first read command, a second read command succeeding the first read command, and a third read command succeeding the second read command, and memory modules connected in series with each other. A first memory module is connected to the logic module and is the closest memory module to the logic module. The first memory module receives the read commands, provide the first read command to a first memory of the first memory module, read first image data from the first memory in response to the first read command, and provide the first image data and first remaining read commands among the read commands to a second memory module which is connected to the first memory module and farther than the first memory module from the logic module.
HUB SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD AND HUB PERFORMING THE HUB SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD
A hub system control method, for controlling a hub which has a maximum bandwidth and is connected to a plurality of monitors, comprising: acquiring resolutions and refresh rates of each one of the monitors by the hub; computing used bandwidths of each one of the monitors according to the resolutions and the refresh rates; and controlling the hub to operate corresponding to at least one relation between the used bandwidths and the maximum bandwidth.
Method for controlling timing controller chip of display panel, and display panel
This application discloses a method for controlling a timing controller chip of a display panel and the display panel. The method includes steps of: outputting a write protection level to a write protection pin; detecting an actual level value of the write protection pin; and controlling whether to read an initialization configuration code according to a comparison result of the actual level value with the write protection level.
Driving method and apparatus of display panel
The present disclosure discloses a driving method and apparatus of a display panel. When each of a plurality of obtained display frames is transmitted, only display data, corresponding to each pixel in one row group, in the display frame of image data is transmitted to a driving chip in the display panel, so that the driving chip in the display panel drives the display panel to display an image according to the received display data. Therefore, when a system on chip transmits each of the plurality of obtained display frames, only the display data, corresponding to each pixel in one row group, in the display frame of image data is transmitted to the driving chip in the display panel.
