The present disclosure relates to an image processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display having a plurality of pixels, and a controller, wherein the controller: calculates an average luminance value of a first frame of an image based on RGB data corresponding to the image; sets a criterion for determining an output level of the plurality of pixels according to the average luminance value of the first frame; controls the display to output a first frame group, including the first frame, according to the set criterion; calculates an average luminance value of a second frame of the image according to a predetermined cycle; resets a criterion for determining the output level of the plurality of pixels according to the average luminance value of the second frame; and controls the display to output a second frame group, including the second frame, according to the reset criterion. Accordingly, by dynamically changing the criteria for determining the output level of the plurality of pixels included in the display based on the luminance value of each frame of the image, the image may be displayed more clearly. Various other embodiments are possible.

An information processing apparatus (20) according to the present disclosure includes a control unit (230). When a display image is displayed on a transmissive display in which real space is visually recognizable, a control unit (230) detects, from the display image, a transparent area through which the real space is seen. The control unit (230) corrects pixel values of at least a part of an area in the transparent area of the display image.
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
A liquid crystal display device includes a first liquid crystal display panel that displays a color image, a second liquid crystal display panel that displays a monochrome image, and a display controller that controls the display of the first liquid crystal display panel and the display of the second liquid crystal display panel. The display controller switches the display of the second liquid crystal display panel between a monochrome display that displays a monochrome image and an all-white display. In a state in which the display of the second liquid crystal display panel is the monochrome display, when a response time between predetermined gradations is greater than or equal to a predetermined first response time, the display controller switches the display of the second liquid crystal display panel from the monochrome display to the all-white display.

In an electroluminescence display apparatus and a driving method of an electroluminescence display apparatus, the electroluminescence display apparatus includes a pixel connected to a data line and a reference voltage line, the pixel including a driving element configured to generate a driving current based on a sensing data voltage supplied through the data line and a reference voltage supplied through the reference voltage line, and a level of the driving current being proportional to a level of the sensing data voltage, a comparison and tracking circuit configured to previously determine a target current range between a reference low current and a reference high current and change current tracking data for adjusting a level of the sensing data voltage until the driving current input through the reference voltage line is within the target current range, and a digital-to-analog converter configured to adjust a level of the sensing data voltage so as to be proportional to a size of the current tracking data and supply the level-adjusted sensing data voltage to the data line.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING AN IMAGE
A method includes: obtaining a plurality of view images; identifying a representative value from among difference values between values of a plurality of sub-pixels corresponding to a first position in the plurality of view images and an intermediate value of a bit range of a display; determining filtering strength corresponding to the representative value, based on a correspondence map indicating a correspondence relationship between filtering strength and a difference value between a value of a sub-pixel and the intermediate value; and applying a filter having the determined filtering strength to the plurality of sub-pixels corresponding to the first position, wherein a value resulting from applying the filter having the determined filtering strength to the plurality of sub-pixels corresponding to the first position is included in a range of sub-pixel values according to the bit range of the display.
POWER SYSTEM FOR DISPLAY APPARATUSES
A power system for display apparatuses, which may predict in real time the amount of supplied current for displaying an image in a display apparatus, includes an image data analyzer analyzing image data input from the outside to predict a pixel degradation degree of each of pixels included in a display panel and predicting an amount of current supplied to the display panel on the basis of the predicted pixel degradation degree and a power supply supplying the display panel with power corresponding to the predicted amount of supplied current.
Display device and method of driving the same
A display device includes a display unit, a timing controller, a data driver, and a sensing unit. The display unit includes a data line, a sensing line, and a pixel that includes a light emitting element and a transistor for providing a driving current to the light emitting element. The timing controller generates a first voltage value by compensating a first grayscale value and generates a second voltage value by remapping the first voltage value from a first voltage range to in a second voltage range. The data driver generates a data voltage based on the second voltage value and supplies the data voltage to the data line. The sensing unit provides an initialization voltage to the sensing line. A voltage difference between the data voltage and a threshold voltage of the transistor is greater than or equal to the initialization voltage.

The present disclosure relates to a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. The signal processing device includes: an input interface to receive an image signal; a first image processor to generate first image frame data based on the image signal; a second image processor including a scaler to generate second image frame data scaled down in comparison with the first image frame data; and an output interface to output the first image frame data and the second image frame data, wherein the scaler generates at least one super pixel or super block and outputs the scaled down second image frame data including the super pixel or the super block. Accordingly, it is possible to generate the scaled down second image frame data with reduced error as compared to the first image frame data.
