SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SIX-PRIMARY WIDE GAMUT COLOR SYSTEM
Systems and methods for a six-primary color system for display. A six-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. The six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
SITUATION AWARENESS SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SITUATION AWARENESS IN A COMBAT VEHICLE
The invention relates to a system (1) for situation awareness in a combat vehicle (2), comprising a plurality of image-capturing sensors (3A-3E) configured to record image sequences showing different partial views (V.sub.A-V.sub.E) of the surroundings of the combat vehicle, and a plurality of client devices (C1-C3) wherein each is configured to show a view (V.sub.P) of the surroundings of the combat vehicle, desired by a user of the client device, on a display (D1-D3). The image-capturing sensors are configured to be connected to a network (4) and to send said image sequences over said network by means of a technique in which each image sequence sent by an image-capturing sensor can be received by a plurality of receivers, such as multicast. The client devices are also configured to be connected to said network and to receive, via said network, at least one image sequence recorded by at least one image-capturing sensor (3A-3E). Further, each client device is configured to generate, on its own, said desired view from the at least one image sequence by processing images from the at least one image sequence, and to provide for display of the desired view on said display.
Implementing previously rendered frame buffer information in a customized GUI display
Embodiments are directed to providing direct access to graphical user interface (GUI) frame buffers and to associating input hardware with a login session. In one scenario, a computer system registers a plug-in software module with a remote desktop client. The registering includes requesting one or more frame buffers rendered for display on a computer system display. The computer system determines that a session has been established between a computer system user and the remote desktop client. The computer system then receives the requested frame buffers and displays the frame buffers on the computer system display and/or sends the received frame buffers to various registered third parties.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a screen. The screen is arranged to display a modifying barcode having a plurality of modifying parallel bars. The screen has a pixel direction and a sub-pixel direction different from the pixel direction. The plurality of modifying parallel bars of the modifying barcode are perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the pixel direction.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND MEDIA FOR INTERACTING WITH CONTENT USING A SECOND SCREEN DEVICE
Methods, systems, and media for interacting with content using a second screen device are provided. In some implementations, the method comprises: receiving, from a remote media streaming device, a request to present media content items; sending, over the Internet, interactive content to the media streaming device as a stream of video; causing the interactive content to be presented by the media streaming device; causing a notification to be sent to a computing device associated with the media streaming device indicating that the content being presented by the media streaming device is interactive content; receiving instructions from the computing device to control how an object depicted in the interactive content is presented; updating the interactive content based on the instructions; sending the updated interactive content to the media streaming device as a stream of video; and causing the updated interactive content to be presented by the media streaming device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BROWSER-BASED SCREEN SHARING
Techniques are disclosed for facilitating browser-based screen sharing using scripting computer language codes that are directly executable by a web browser. An example method comprises loading a presentation webpage in a presenter's web browser. The presentation webpage includes scripting language codes that are configured to cause the presenter's web browser to capture a screen image without requiring the presenter's web browser to load an applet. The method further includes receiving data indicative of the captured screen image from the presenter device, wherein the data is generated by the scripting language codes, processing the received data to form a processed screen image that is in an image format natively displayable to a viewer's web browser, and transmitting a viewer webpage including the processed screen image to the viewer's web browser.
Thread serialization, distributed parallel programming, and runtime extensions of parallel computing platform
Systems, apparatuses, and methods may provide for technology to process graphical data, and to modify a runtime environment in a parallel computing platform for a graphic environment.
Method for content adaptation based on ambient environment of electronic device and electronic device thereof
An electronic device and method for adapting content based on an ambient environment in the electronic device are provided. The device includes a display interface functionally connecting a content processing module to a display; and the content processing module, wherein the content processing module is configured to receive, from at least one external device external of the electronic device or the at least one external device, ambient color information corresponding for the electronic device or the at least one external device, modify color information for at least a part of first content to be output through the display based on the received ambient color information, and output, based on the modified color information, second content having the modified color information, through the display.
Processing display data for transmission
A method for compressing display data is disclosed. The method comprises performing a wavelet transformation to obtain a general approximation coefficient and a plurality of detail coefficients for a group of pixels; determining whether to prioritise transmission of the general approximation coefficient over transmission of the detail coefficients based on whether there are sufficient resources available to enable a corresponding image frame to be ready for display and/or based on a time since the detail coefficients for a corresponding group of pixels were previously transmitted. If it is determined that transmission of the general approximation coefficient is to be prioritised over transmission of the detail coefficients, the method comprises either: transmitting only the general approximation coefficient, or compressing at least one detail coefficient so as to be more compressed than the general approximation coefficient and transmitting the general approximation coefficient and the at least one compressed detail coefficient.
Technology Add-On Control Console
The operation of an automatic data input and query system is controlled by well-defined control data. The system exposes user interfaces enabling an administrator to interact with control data to modify the ongoing operation of the system. Certain control data determines the collection and treatment of data from various technology sources. A robust control interface is provided enabling the efficient and reliable adding on of new technology data sources. Once established, control data for a new technology data source may be packaged in a form for archiving or distribution. The system may support the export and import of such packages. Such packages may be created independently of the system.
