MOUSEPADS WITH SENSORS
An input device that includes a mouse; a mousepad, that includes a sensor to detect a position of the mouse on a surface of the mousepad; a processor; an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to, when activated by the processor, indicate a position of the mouse on the surface of the mousepad; wherein the mouse comprises a button that, when activated, causes the processor to initiate an action based on the detected position of the mouse relative to the surface of the mousepad.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BANDWIDTH REDUCTION IN VIDEO SIGNAL TRANSMISSION
Reduced-bandwidth versions of display signals that are currently being provided as outputs by multiple computer systems are received and processed for output, at another computer system, of a representation of each of the display signals. The received reduced-bandwidth versions may include, for example, versions of display signals that are generated by applying any one or more of the following to each of the display signals: scaling, segmenting, and compression. At a transmit side, respective requests for different reduced-bandwidth versions of a display signal that is currently being provided as an output by a computer system are received from multiple other computer systems. The different reduced-bandwidth versions of the display signal are generated and transmitted to the requesting computer systems responsive to the requests.
Picture interface display method and apparatus according to jump protocol
A method and an apparatus for presenting an interface are provided according to the embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes performing a detecting for a click operation on a shared picture; determining, in response to detecting the click operation, whether an original source application of the picture indicated by an application identifier is already installed locally based on the application identifier; and in response to determining that the original source application is already installed locally, constructing a content of a jump protocol pre-associated with the picture based on the application identifier and parameter information pre-associated with the picture, and executing the constructed jump protocol to open the locally installed original source application and present an interface corresponding to the picture.
Electronic system capable of sharing peripheral device
An electronic system capable of sharing peripheral device includes a display device, a first host device, at least one peripheral device and a second host device. The first host device communicates with the display device, outputs a first picture to the display device and transmits a link information to the display device. The peripheral device is connected to the first host device. The second host device communicates with the display device, outputs a second picture to the display device and obtains the link information and a picture arrangement manner from the display device. The first host device obtains the picture arrangement manner from the display device. The second host device establishes a link with the first host device through an Internet according to the link information, such that the peripheral device is allowed to control the second host device through the first host device and the Internet.
Methods for capturing and broadcasting user computer sessions and related computer program products
Methods for capturing and broadcasting a user computer session may involve running the session on a host computer equipped with a graphics processing unit to prepare session display data. The capturing and broadcasting method implements the operations of repeatedly providing the display data prepared by the graphics processing unit to a first encoder and a second encoder to establish a primary video stream and a secondary video stream; then transmitting the primary video stream to the remote client associated with the computer session and transmitting the secondary video stream to a subscriber client.
Extension of remote frame buffer (RFB) protocol
A remote frame buffer server configured to send a table of command IDs and command text labels to a remote frame buffer client. This table allows an operator to use text-based interactions in addition to pixel-based interactions to remotely manipulate a display managed by the remote frame buffer server.
Tablet computing device with display dock
An input system for a 3D display device includes a pen, and a tablet computing device to receive input via interaction with the pen. The tablet computing device including a display dock to dock the 3D display device and a pen dock to dock the pen, wherein docking of the 3D display device in the display dock facilitates a determination of a display position of a visual representation of the tablet computing device on the 3D display device.
DISPLAY DEVICE CAPABLE OF SWITCHING IMAGE SOURCES AND OPERATING SYSTEM THEREOF
A display device capable of switching image sources and including a first transmission interface, a second transmission interface, a system on chip (SOC), and a display panel is provided. The first transmission interface is configured to be coupled to a first electronic device and receive a first image signal and selection information from the first electronic device. The second transmission interface is configured to be coupled to a second electronic device and receive a second image signal from the second electronic device. The SOC selects at least one of the first and second image signals according to the selection information to generate a display signal. The display panel displays an image according to the display signal.
Resource sharing device and control method thereof
A resource sharing device and control method thereof. The resource sharing device is electrically coupled to a plurality of computers and a mouse. The mouse is used to control a mouse cursor, and each computer is electrically coupled to a display. The steps include: identifying the spatial arrangement and resolutions of the displays; the computers initializing the respective positions of the mouse cursor; receiving a mouse displacement generated by the mouse; generating a mouse cursor displacement according to the mouse displacement and an acceleration setting; transmitting the mouse cursor displacement to one of the computers; determining whether the mouse cursor reaches a threshold; when the determination is affirmative, switching the mouse control to another computer.
System and method of polychromatic identification for a KVM switch
Systems and methods of a peripheral devices switching system configured to be connected to a plurality of host computers, including at least one set of peripheral devices, a peripheral devices switch that is to be coupled to said at least one set of peripheral devices and said plurality of host computers, where the peripheral devices switch assigns a color to each host computer, and couple between said at least one set of peripheral devices and an active host computer, and one or more polychromatic light sources that are being comprised in the peripheral devices switch, the at least one of the peripheral devices of the sets of peripheral devices or both, where the peripheral devices switch indicates the active host computer by illuminating at least one polychromatic light source by the color that is assigned to the active host computer.
