SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED FLIGHT PLAN REPORTING IN AN ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT
A system for automated flight plan reporting for an electric aircraft, the system including a flight controller coupled to the electric aircraft configured to receive a digital datum from a remote device, generate a plan adjustment datum as a function of the digital datum, and transmit the plan adjustment datum to a pilot display, a pilot display coupled to the electric aircraft, wherein the pilot display is configured to receive the plan adjustment datum from the flight controller, display the plan adjustment datum to a user; and receive a confirmation datum from the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DISPLAY CONNECTIVITY STRENGTH AND COMMUNICATION PERFORMANCE OF CONNECTED VEHICLES
Systems and methods for displaying connectivity strength for vehicles are disclosed. For instance, the method may include receiving, from an off-board station, connectivity data relating to a connected vehicle, the connectivity data having been received from a plurality of connected vehicles other than the connected vehicle and selected based on relevance to the connected vehicle; identifying a portion of the received connectivity data to display on the connected vehicle; generating a display of the identified portion of the received connectivity data; and displaying on a display unit of the connected vehicle, the generated display of the identified portion of the received connectivity data. The method may also include generating and displaying an updated route based on the received connectivity data.
Augmented situational awareness hub
A sensor hub for collecting sensor data during a parachuting or wing-suite event is described herein. In some instances, the sensor hub may include a sensor hub housing, the sensor hub housing including a first cavity that houses a power supply and a communication unit and a second cavity that houses a location sensor and an orientation sensor, wherein the communication unit is configured to share the location sensor and the orientation sensor with a second sensor hub and a helmet that attaches to the sensor hub housing.
Systems and methods for interfacing with head worn display systems
A display system includes an interface unit, a head worn display in wireless communication with the interface unit, and a first tracker sensor remote from a head of a user and configured to wirelessly sense a head pose and provide first head tracking data to the interface unit. The interface unit is remote from the head worn display. The display system also includes a second tracker sensor associated with the head of the user and configured to provide second head tracking data associated with the head pose to the head worn display. The interface unit is configured to receive the second head tracking data from the head worn display via at least one wireless link and provide video information for display on the head worn display via the at least one wireless link.
Automatic display unit backup during failures of one more display units through the utilization of graphic user interface objects defined for control transfer and reversion after resolution of the failures
Automatic display unit backup during failures of one more display units through the utilization of graphic user interface objects defined for control transfer and reversion after resolution of the failures is provided herein. A system can comprise a memory operatively coupled to a processor that executes stored executable components comprising a first controller, a second controller, and a failure indication component that provides a first notification based on a first detection of a first failure at the second controller, and a second notification based on a second detection of a second failure at the first controller. Further, the executable components can comprise a control transfer component that automatically transfers control of a second display unit from the v controller to the first controller based on the first notification, or control of a first display unit from the first controller to the second controller based on the second notification.
Automatic perspective correction for in-flight entertainment (IFE) monitors
Disclosed embodiments are directed at devices, methods, and systems for fixing distortions of content displayed on in-flight entertainment (IFE) monitors in a commercial passenger vehicle. An IFE monitor can receive angular measurement data from one or more gyroscope sensors to determine a differential angle of tilt of the IFE monitor. In response to determining that the differential angle of tilt is non-zero, the IFE monitor can detect that content displayed on the IFE monitor is subject to distortion. The IFE monitor can automatically apply a perspective correction to the content displayed on the IFE monitor for fixing the perceived distortion.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING RADIO TRANSCRIPTION TEXT IN A LIMITED DISPLAY AREA
Disclosed is a flight deck system comprising a controller for displaying message content from an ATC conversation. The controller is configured to: receive extracted message content from a plurality of messages; and generate a ticker tape graphical element having a first panel and a second panel for display as an overlay over a primary display on an aircraft display device. The first panel has a main panel for displaying message content for a most recently received message and one or more subsidiary panels for displaying message content for up to a first predetermined number of the most recently received messages. The second panel has a bookmark main panel for displaying message content for a second predetermined number of the most recently received bookmarked messages and one or more bookmark subsidiary panels for displaying message content for a third predetermined number of the most recently received bookmarked messages.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
An electronic display apparatus comprising a support frame, wherein mounted within the support frame there is an electronic display configured to display content based on image data, and a display driver circuit to receive the image data and to supply an image signal to the electronic display to cause the electronic display to display the content, the image signal based on the image data. Also mounted in the support frame is a connector cable connecting the display driver circuit and the electronic display for transmission of the image signal from the display driver circuit to the electronic display. The support frame is mountable to one or more surfaces so as to mount the electronic display to a first portion of the one or more surfaces and mount the display driver circuit to a second portion of the one or more surfaces that is away from the first portion, and the support frame maintains the electronic display in a spaced relationship from the display driver circuit.
