PEDAL DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
A pedal device includes a base plate, a pedal supported rotatably, a rotary volume comprising a rotational shaft configured to rotate in association with the pedal, and an engagement member configured to be brought into engagement with a non-rotational portion provided around the rotational shaft of the rotary volume and with the base plate.
KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT STAND AND KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT SET
A keyboard instrument stand for a keyboard instrument set includes a leg portion configured to support a keyboard instrument, a pedal device, and a pedal frame configured to fix the pedal device of which at least a part is disposed further backwards than a backmost end portion in a short direction of the keyboard instrument.

Sensor module, system of modules for a piano keyboard, and corresponding method
Different aspects of the invention implement a sensor module that can be configured as a keyboard module or as a pedal module, allowing to connect a plurality of keyboard and pedal modules to assemble a configuration to the user's liking, such as, for example, the usual configuration of an 87-key piano together with two pedals. The sensor module transmits information about detected key or pedal strokes to a computer application for playback, either aural or visual. At the same time, the sensor module allows, both in the keyboard module and pedal module configuration, to transmit the feeling of playing a real piano.
Upright keyboard instrument
An upright keyboard instrument reduced in depth dimension and compact as a whole. Damper levers each extend in a vertical direction and are pivotally movably supported at or in the vicinity of a longitudinal center thereof, in a side-by-side arrangement in a left-right direction at a location rearward of actions. A damper rod extends in a left-right direction. A pedal rod extends in the vertical direction and is disposed forward of the damper levers, so as to be moved upward by depression of a pedal. A damper lever drive mechanism is provided between a longitudinal end of the damper rod and an upper end of the pedal rod and drives lower portions of the damper levers such that the lower portions are pressed rearward by moving the damper rod rearward in accordance with upward movement of the pedal rod.

SOSTENUTO MECHANISM FOR KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT AND KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
A sostenuto mechanism linked to a sostenuto pedal and a sostenuto rod of a keyboard instrument, and the keyboard instrument are provided. The sostenuto mechanism includes a fixed member configured to be fixed to at least one of a middle beam or a key bed of the keyboard instrument, a movable member movably supported by the fixed member, and a movement transmission. The movement transmission is configured to be interposed between the sostenuto pedal and the movable member to transmit movement of the sostenuto pedal to the movable member. The moveable member is movable relative to the fixed member to turn the sostenuto rod in response to depression of the sostenuto pedal.

Smart piano system
Systems and methods for providing a piano system are provided. In some embodiments, the methods include receiving a plurality of key signals related to a first performance of a piece of music, wherein each of the plurality of key signals corresponds to motion of at least one key of a piano during the first performance; generating first performance information based on the plurality of key signals; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music; receiving musical data related to a second performance of the piece of music, generating second performance information based on the musical data; and providing content for presentation on a display device based on the first performance information and the second performance information. The methods can also include receiving at least one pedal signal corresponding to motion of a pedal of the piano during the first performance, and generating first performance information based on the pedal signal.
