STRINGED INSTRUMENT TEACHING APPARATUS AND METHOD
The invention provides an apparatus (10) adapted to teach wrist position of a non-bowing arm (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in a pupil playing a stringed instrument, and a method of monitoring correct wrist position. The apparatus (10) comprises a non-contact proximity sensor (22), a proximity information transmitter (23); related circuitry (20), a power source (21) and, in one embodiment, a housing (11, 12). The housing is attachable to the stringed instrument in an operating position; and the non-contact proximity sensor (22) is positioned so that when the housing (11, 12) is in the operating position, the non-contact proximity sensor (22) is sensitive at least to when an inner part (8) of the wrist or hand of the pupil comes closer to the non-contact proximity sensor than a threshold distance (D) associated with misalignment of the hand (2) and forearm (3) of the pupil.

Humidity modifying auxiliary tool, humidity modifying member, and method for modifying humidity
A humidity modifying auxiliary tool having a superior humidity modifying effect is provided. A humidity modifying auxiliary tool capable of being installed in a condition where the humidity modifying auxiliary tool covers a sound hole provided on a body part of a stringed instrument includes: a lid portion capable of covering the sound hole; a frame portion provided at a back side of the lid portion, the frame portion being equipped with a humidity modifying sheet retaining portion to retain a humidity modifying sheet to modify humidity of the body part.
Detachable violoncello non-slip pad
The present disclosure provides a detachable violoncello non-slip pad, which includes an non-slip portion and a limiting portion. The limiting portion is partially detachably received in the non-slip portion. The limiting portion includes a mounting plate and a limiting plate. The mounting plate is fixedly connected to the limiting plate. The mounting plate is detachably received in the non-slip portion. The detachable violoncello non-slip pad can separate the non-slip portion and the limiting portion, which is convenient for cleaning. When the non-slip portion is worn, only the non-slip portion needs to be replaced without overall replacement, which reduces the use cost of a user.
Electrically enabled sound post for stringed musical instruments
A sound post assembly for a musical instrument, comprising two or more mechanically movable parts that allow for a length adjustment of the sound post assembly and one or more electrical components. In an example embodiment, the electrical components are configured to electrically measure the force exerted by the sound post on the upper and lower walls of the instrument's sound box. In some embodiments, the electrical components may operate to mechanically change the length of the sound post assembly through an electrical actuator, such as a piezo-electric actuator or an electro-magnetic motor. Also disclosed are example safety mechanisms and methods of wiring and interfacing said sound post assembly with a control unit.
