Detachable Bridge For Stringed Instrument
The invention relates to a detachable bridge for a stringed instrument and the stringed instrument including such a detachable bridge. More specifically, the invention may comprise a detachable portion and a non-detachable portion. The strings are secured to the detachable portion. In a preferred embodiment, the detachable portion is secured by a retaining means of the non-detachable portion.

Sonic improvement for all stringed instruments that employ a fulcrum tremolo bridge system with back of instrument counter tensioning springs. The improvement is provided by securing springs to claw assembly, as well as securing claw assemble to a flat plate of material which is in turn secured to instrument body. The claw and resonator plate can be fabricated as two individual pieces then fastened together or as a combined one piece assemble that is then fastened to instrument body.

Interchangeable Bridge Block System for a Guitar
A removable bridge block system for a guitar having a first opening bordering a first compartment. A support structure is connected to at least a portion of the first compartment. A bridge block is retained within the first compartment of the body portion of the guitar. The bridge block has a recess configured to receive a plate of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a plate including a disk having a substantially curved edge and a flat edge portion. The plate is retained within a second compartment of the body of the guitar. The plate is configured to rotate, with the force of a user's fingers or with a tool such as a screw driver, within the second compartment of the body of the guitar to orient the substantially curved edge of the plate to be retained within the recess of the bridge block.
String tensioner for stringed instrument
A string tensioner module for a stringed musical instrument is configured to apply a constant or near-constant tension to the musical strings of the instrument. The module is divided into a plurality of string tensioners, one string tensioner for each musical string. Each string tensioner employs a primary spring that apply the primary force coaxial with the string. Each string tensioner also employs a secondary spring that applies a secondary force in a direction crossing the axis of the string, and thus applying an axial force component that changes as the angle of the secondary spring changes. The primary and secondary springs are selected so that the change in the axial force component of the secondary spring as the string changes in length approximates the change in force applied by the primary spring so that the axial force applied to the string remains generally constant even as the string changes in length.
String tensioner for stringed instrument
A string tensioner module for a stringed musical instrument is configured to apply a constant or near-constant tension to the musical strings of the instrument. The module is divided into a plurality of string tensioners, one string tensioner for each musical string. Each string tensioner employs a primary spring that apply the primary force coaxial with the string. Each string tensioner also employs a secondary spring that applies a secondary force in a direction crossing the axis of the string, and thus applying an axial force component that changes as the angle of the secondary spring changes. The primary and secondary springs are selected so that the change in the axial force component of the secondary spring as the string changes in length approximates the change in force applied by the primary spring so that the axial force applied to the string remains generally constant even as the string changes in length.
TAILPIECE FOR A STRING INSTRUMENT
Disclosed herein are improved tailpieces for use with a stringed instrument. In some embodiments, the improved tailpieces provide for a better and adjustable sound quality. In other embodiments, the improved tailpieces provide for facile removal and attachment to a tailgut. In other embodiments, the tailpiece connection to the tailgut is adjustable. In further embodiments, the tailpiece has a detachable weight that is associated with a back face thereof.

IMPROVED LOCKING INTONATED STRING NUT WITH TUNER MOUNT FOR STRINGED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND METHODS OF USE
The present inventive disclosures are generally directed to various improved versions of locking compensated nuts for fretted stringed musical instruments. Many embodiments are especially directed to improved locking compensated nuts that can be more-easily retrofitted into existing guitars and other stringed musical instruments without requiring any major reconfigurations or modifications of the base instruments, and some variations are directed to a detachably coupled tuner-mount device that will facilitate enhanced tuning capabilities because of improved vibrational communication between the instrument strings and the tuner. In addition, some improved locking compensated nuts described herein feature interchangeable compensated inserts to allow for easy adaption to alternate string sets.
