A method for coloring hair on a human head using a blow dryer is provided. According to the method, the hair is separated into sections of different shape (e.g., rhombic, square, triangular, horseshoe-shaped, etc.). Then, subsections of hair are isolated in each section. Each subsection of hair is grabbed and pulled (in a direction of a cut line of the hair) with one hand of a hairdresser, and different (e.g., short, medium-length, and long) layers of hair are blown out of the subsection of hair by an air flow from the blow dryer held in another hand of the hairdresser. After that, at least one of the blown-out layers of hair is fixed (e.g., with a clamp) and colored. The hair thus colored is then rinsed and treated according to a post-coloring recipe.

Hair dye composition and method of dyeing hair that targets only at least one grey part using a permanent hair dye component comprising a specific volume percentage of a particulate pigment to permanent hair dye component. The purpose of some embodiments of the invention is to delay the need for women to dye their hair in full. At least one pigment particle (about 0.0770 ml or about 1/64th of a teaspoon) may be added to a bottle of 71 ml of permanent hair dye, which allows the permanent hair dye composition to become visible and allows for more accuracy during application. Using small quantities of 5 cc per application (hair dye: 2.5 ml; developer: 2.5 ml) reduces the amount of dye applied to needless areas of the hair. The use of a make-up sponge stick allows for better accuracy. The composition is multi-use, and provides for 28 applications (71 ml bottle of dye and 71 ml of developer), and will save users time and money. All these characteristics provide for a hair dye composition that significantly reduces the amount of harmful chemicals applied to users' hair.

A custom hair coloring container, components of the container, and method of use and doing business. In one embodiment, the container includes a container body, a hair colorant container section of the container body removably mountable to a peroxide container section of the container body, and the hair colorant container section and the peroxide container section collectively forming a cavity with an inside surface. The hair colorant container section may include a first interior seal threadedly engaged with the inside surface within the hair colorant container, and the peroxide container section may include second interior seal threadedly engaged with the inside surface within the peroxide container section.

A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

Formulation delivery systems, formulation delivery devices, and formulation cartridges for the same are provided. Formulation delivery systems include a reusable handle, a formulation dispensing assembly, and a controller. The formulation dispensing assembly includes a reciprocating nozzle assembly and a pump. The formulation dispensing assembly includes fluid conduits, a pump fluidically connected to the fluid conduits, a reciprocating nozzle assembly, and a controller. Formulation cartridges include a reusable cartridge body, a valve frame, and a disposable refill packet reversibly-coupleable to the reusable cartridge body. The disposable refill packet includes a formulation packet and a body portion configured for insertion into the reusable cartridge body.

A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

A dispenser for dispensing liquids into the hair is provided having a body with a handle and an arch shaped portion. Teeth extending from the body in the arch shaped portion are configured to disburse liquid from openings at distal ends thereof. A liquid supply positioned in a cavity of a handle on one end of the body is communicated under pressure to the openings in the teeth, by compression of flexible sidewalls of the handle.

Described herein are methods for applying a color-altering material to the roots of the hair which reduce the amount of time needed between color applications. The color-altering material is applied horizontally with respect to the hair, and the natural color of the hair is left intact between the color-altering sessions. The methods of this disclosure incorporate the root growth into the overall color pattern of the hair, allowing a user to wait for a longer period of time in between color applications.

The present invention is an integrated at least two component system and method which combines at least two or more components and creates at least one new mixture.
