ATLAS/NOTE FINDER MUSIC THEORY APPLICATION
A system and method for providing music teaching tools, and more specifically, a system and method for providing a color-coded music theory and guitar note teacher is disclosed. The system includes a note finder fret board for guitar, a domino editor for creating a visual representation of a sequence of musical notes using the note finder fret board, the domino editor manipulates a color-coded domino for each musical note in the sequence of musical notes, a music staff reader for transforming a sequence of musical notes represented in a music staff representation into the visual representation of a sequence of musical notes using the note finder fret board, and a music staff generator for transforming a sequence of musical notes represented in the visual representation of a sequence of musical notes using the note finder fret board a music staff representation into the music staff representation. The note finder fret board for guitar is a color-coded fret board representation having a one of a plurality of color codes assigned for each guitar string at each fret on a guitar, the each of the plurality of color codes correspond to musical note on a musical scale, a color coded set of color-coded dominos corresponding to a set of musical scales associated with each musical key.

REUSABLE AND REPOSITIONABLE ARTICLE
An article for retaining an object against a musical instrument including a mat of a material that extends from a first surface to a second surface. The first surface contacts a contoured surface of the musical instrument and the second surface contacting the object. The mat flexes to match the contoured surface of the musical instrument. The static coefficient of friction of the first surface is greater than the static coefficient of friction of the contoured surface of the musical instrument. As a result, the mat removably retains the object on the contoured surface of the musical instrument.
Music shaper
A music composition, editing, and playback system and method provides a user interface design based on geometric interpretation of music theory replacing traditional modern music notation with geometric shapes including chords represented by polygons that are colored with colors or hues.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND COMPUTER SYSTEM IMPLEMENTED METHOD OF PROCESSING INFORMATION
An information processing system includes an image obtaining circuit and a display control circuit. The image obtaining circuit is configured to obtain observation images of a first keyboard of a first keyboard instrument. The display control circuit is configured to display, on a display device, the observation images and reference images. The reference images include moving images of at least one hand and one or more fingers of a reference performer who is playing a second keyboard of a second keyboard instrument. The at least one hand and the one or more fingers of the reference performer are displayed overlapping the first keyboard included in the observation images.

APPARATUS FOR PLAYING CHORDS ON MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR VISUALLY-IMPAIRED PEOPLE AND METHOD OF PERFORMING SAME
An apparatus for playing chords, scales and/or intervals on a musical instrument for visually-impaired people is provided. The apparatus can have a substantially rectangular card with multiple indicators attached to the card that a visually-impaired person can play all chords, intervals and scales on a piano with a dedicated card having the chord or scale configuration by aligning the indicators to any piano key and finding the other keys of the same chord or scale on the piano by aligning the other indicators.

PASSIVE HAPTIC TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHODS
Exemplary systems and wearable haptic device systems are disclosed for training a user to improve perception or discrimination. An exemplary system can be used to train a user to play a musical instrument, such as a piano, in passive training sessions via a wearable haptic device. The exemplary wearable haptic device can be integrated with sensors and in operative communication with a passive haptic learning system (e.g., cloud-based infrastructure) that is configured to generate, update, and/or modify tactile training data for generating tactile outputs at the wearable haptic device.
