Portable apparatus and methods using phase change materials for creating a temperature stabilized environment
A carrying case utilizes a layer of phase change materials and a thermal insulation layer in order to provide a temperature-stabilized environment for enclosed payloads such as musical instruments during transport through an environment in which temperatures differ greatly from those to which they are normally exposed. In one aspect, the phase change materials and thermal insulation provide an extended period of temperature constancy, without the addition of either active thermal control or excessively bulky insulation.
Amplified Electric Guitar Credenza
A credenza, the comprising one or more amplifiers, a plurality of speakers, and configured with a slide-out drawer that is shaped to support a guitar when not in use. The credenza may be constructed of dense, thin, and solid wood. A protective material is applied to the interior surface of the slide-out drawer to avoid abrasion of the guitar surface.
Collapsible hard case for surfboards and other large objects
A protective case for large objects including a lock housing formed from a first section and a second section, both of the sections including at least one external subsection and at least one internal subsection configured to telescope inside the external subsection; and an extension lock comprising a lock housing and a compression lock, the lock housing including a screw-threaded channel, and the compression comprising at least one screw-threaded shaft with a compressive component on the interior end and a lock handle on the exterior end, the screw-threaded shaft configured to matingly engage with the screw-threaded channel of the lock housing; the compression lock configured to descend in the lock housing and compressingly lock the internal subsection in an extended position upon locking rotation of the compression lock; and the compression lock configure to ascend in the lock housing upon unlocking rotation of the cam latch.
METHOD OF STORING MUSICAL ACCESSORIES
A method of storing musical accessories includes providing a storage case, the storage case comprising a compartment and a lid, the compartment defining an interior configured to receive musical accessories, the lid configured to cover an opening of the compartment to enclose the interior; inserting a musical accessory into the interior of the compartment through an orifice in the lid; receiving the musical accessory on one of an accessory tray and an accessory mount; and retrieving the musical accessory from the interior of the compartment.
Guitar case
Provided is a guitar case that can include a body for placement of a guitar; a translucent or transparent window where a portion of the guitar is visible from outside of the case; and a speaker; wherein the guitar placed inside of the case is configured to play over the speaker with a wired or wireless connection. The guitar case can further include a panel or a screen. The screen can be a touch-screen. The panel can be configured to move to allow access to electronics inside of the case. The panel can pivot out. The guitar case can further include a door, the door having the window. The guitar case can further include a camera or a microphone. The case can be configured so that a guitar is placed at an angle of less than vertical.
SENSOR MODULE, SYSTEM OF MODULES FOR A PIANO KEYBOARD, AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
Different aspects of the invention implement a sensor module that can be configured as a keyboard module or as a pedal module, allowing to connect a plurality of keyboard and pedal modules to assemble a configuration to the user's liking, such as, for example, the usual configuration of an 87-key piano together with two pedals. The sensor module transmits information about detected key or pedal strokes to a computer application for playback, either aural or visual. At the same time, the sensor module allows, both in the keyboard module and pedal module configuration, to transmit the feeling of playing a real piano.
INSTRUMENT CASE FOR STRING INSTRUMENTS
Instrument case for string instruments
The invention is based on an instrument case for receiving a string instrument (16), with a housing (12), with a receiving region (18), delimited by the housing (12), for receiving an instrument (16) and with at least one neck support module (28) comprising a neck support unit (34) for supporting an instrument neck.
It is proposed that the neck support module (28) comprises a bearing unit (40) having two bearing elements (46, 56) and supporting the neck support unit (34) in the receiving region (18) in an adjustable manner
ENVIRONMENTALLY-REGULATED PORTABLE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CASE
An environmentally-regulated portable musical instrument case is provided which can insulate the musical instrument from external temperature and humidity changes. The case has an internal cavity designed to hold the musical instrument. The walls of the cavity are designed to reduce thermal transfer between the internal cavity and the surrounding environment. A temperature regulating apparatus actively or passively further controls the temperature of the internal cavity while a humidity control device controls the humidity.
STORAGE CASE FOR MUSICAL ACCESSORIES
A storage case for musical accessories includes a bottom wall; an outer sidewall extending from the bottom wall, the outer sidewall and bottom wall defining an interior space; a divider wall extending from the bottom wall between a first location on the outer sidewall and a second location on the outer sidewall, the divider wall configured to divide the interior space into a first compartment and a second compartment; a first lid hingedly attached to the first compartment and configured to enclose the first compartment; and a second lid hingedly attached to the second compartment and configured to enclose the second compartment.
SPEAKER AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENT CASE
A speaker includes a first flat diaphragm, an actuator that applies vibration corresponding to a sound signal to the first flat diaphragm, and a second flat diaphragm separated from the first flat diaphragm and vibrated by the actuator.
