EFFICIENT COMBINED HARMONIC TRANSPOSITION
The present document relates to audio coding systems which make use of a harmonic transposition method for high frequency reconstruction (HFR), and to digital effect processors, e.g. so-called exciters, where generation of harmonic distortion adds brightness to the processed signal. In particular, a system configured to generate a high frequency component of a signal from a low frequency component of the signal is described. The system may comprise an analysis filter bank (501) configured to provide a set of analysis subband signals from the low frequency component of the signal; wherein the set of analysis subband signals comprises at least two analysis subband signals; wherein the analysis filter bank (501) has a frequency resolution of Δf. The system further comprises a nonlinear processing unit (502) configured to determine a set of synthesis subband signals from the set of analysis subband signals using a transposition order P; wherein the set of synthesis subband signals comprises a portion of the set of analysis subband signals phase shifted by an amount derived from the transposition order P; and a synthesis filter bank (504) configured to generate the high frequency component of the signal from the set of synthesis subband signals; wherein the synthesis filter bank (504) has a frequency resolution of FΔf; with F being a resolution factor, with F≥1; wherein the transposition order P is different from the resolution factor F.
Augmented Reality Filters for Captured Audiovisual Performances
Visual effects, including augmented reality-type visual effects, are applied to audiovisual performances with differing visual effects and/or parameterizations thereof applied in correspondence with computationally determined audio features or elements of musical structure coded in temporally-synchronized tracks or computationally determined therefrom. Segmentation techniques applied to one or more audio tracks (e.g., vocal or backing tracks) are used to compute some of the components of the musical structure. In some cases, applied visual effects are based on an audio feature computationally extracted from a captured audiovisual performance or from an audio track temporally-synchronized therewith.
DJ apparatus including an integrated removable fader component
An apparatus is provided for integrating a removable fader component with an audio component while also enabling the fader component to be connected with one or more external audio components and/or to function as a standalone fader when removed from the apparatus. The method comprises: in response to a received sound effect adjustment instruction, acquiring a music file, the adjustment of which is indicated by the sound effect adjustment instruction; carrying out vocals and accompaniment separation on the music file to obtain vocal data and accompaniment data in the music file; carrying out first sound effect processing on the vocal data to obtain target vocal data, and carrying out second sound effect processing on the accompaniment data to obtain target accompaniment data; and synthesizing the target vocal data and the target accompaniment data to obtain a target music file.
