A virtual musical instrument is displayed in the video when the virtual musical instrument is matched with at least one musical instrument graphic element in the video. Played audio of the virtual musical instrument is outputted according to interactions with the at least one musical instrument graphic element matched with the virtual musical instrument in the video. Apparatus and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium counterpart embodiments are also contemplated.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIA
An information processing device includes: an input interface; and at least one processor, configured to perform the following: selecting an instrument, a musical tone of which is to be digitally synthesized based on corresponding musical tone data, via the input interface; acquiring a parameter value that has been set for the selected instrument; generating a random number based on a random function; and changing a pitch of the musical tone of the selected instrument based on the generated random number and the acquired parameter values.
Method and a system for modular circuit bending and modding of electric and electronic music instruments, audio amplifiers and sound equipment
A method and system for shaping the tone by modular circuit bending and modding of electric and electronic music instruments, audio amplifiers and sound equipment. The design of the system consists of a modding structure of a plurality of inserts, inputs and outputs connections for compatible modules, to reconfigure the electronic circuit without the physical changing of component values and without adding or removing electronic parts of the audio equipment by soldering. A plurality of tone modules for shaping the sound by the intervention into the signal path and a plurality of modules for shaping the tone by other sound design methods that are not part of the signal path are provided. For the modular system, an external device can be used as a multiplier, which consists of a plurality of inserts, inputs and outputs connections for compatible modules also including a plurality of combined series/parallel circuits of freely selectable inputs and outputs for the direct swap of a plurality of modding modules. In addition, switching options are available to control bypass, for advanced series or parallel connections, and for AB testing capabilities. The modular modding system can be used as a standalone device or as an upgrade to existing equipment.
ARPEGGIATOR, RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD OF MAKING ARPEGGIO
[Problem] To provide an arpeggiator capable of suppressing sound muddiness caused by simultaneous production of sounds in a multi-arpeggiator capable of automatically playing arpeggios in a plurality of performance parts, and a program provided with the function of the arpeggiator. [Solution] A synthesizer 1 decreases velocity in velocity memory 12c in accordance with a duck rate when the time of sound production for a sound production part is the same as the time of sound production for a duck part, and at that time of sound production, a note number of the duck part is the same as a note number of a duck note. This makes it possible to suppress muddiness of output sound, since an increase in output level is suppressed even when a plurality parts produce sound at the same time.
ARPEGGIATOR, RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD OF MAKING ARPEGGIO
[Problem] To provide an arpeggiator enabling musically natural arpeggio playing to be achieved, and a program comprising a function therefor. [Solution] In the present invention, a synthesizer 1 resets the number of octaves in an octave counter memory 12d to zero at the beginning of each bar when an octave reset function is on. Due to this configuration, sounds generated at the beginning of each bar, that is, when the step count is 0, all have the same note number. Consequently, a sound generation timing-based cycle of an arpeggio pattern of each bar can be synchronized with a pitch variation-based cycle, making it possible to give a listener the impression that a consistent phrase is being played.
Methods, systems, devices and computer program products for adapting external content to a video stream
This disclosure falls into the field of adapting external content to a video stream, and more specifically it is related to analyzing the video stream to define a suitable narrative model, and adapting the external content based on this narrative model.
IMPROVED SYNCHRONIZATION OF A PRE-RECORDED MUSIC ACCOMPANIMENT ON A USER'S MUSIC PLAYING
A method for synchronizing a pre-recorded music accompaniment to a music playing of a user. The music playing is captured by at least one microphone, which delivers an input acoustic signal feeding a processing unit, which includes a memory for storing data of the music accompaniment and provides an output acoustic signal based on the music accompaniment data to feed at least a loudspeaker playing the music accompaniment. The processing unit analyses the input acoustic signal to detect musical events and music tempo, compares the detected musical events to the music accompaniment data to determine at least a lag between the timings of the detected musical events and the musical events of the music accompaniment, and adapts a timing of the output acoustic signal based on the lag and a synchronization function calculated from a temporal variable, the user's music tempo, and the duration of compensation of the lag.
GENERATING TONALLY COMPATIBLE, SYNCHRONIZED NEURAL BEATS FOR DIGITAL AUDIO FILES
Methods and systems for improved neural beat generation for digital audio files are provided. In one embodiment the method is provided that includes receiving a digital audio file and a beat frequency for a neural beat. Chromagram features may be extracted from the digital audio file and may be used to identify dominant pitch classes at a plurality of timestamps within the digital audio file. A plurality of carrier frequencies at different time periods within the digital audio file may be selected based on the dominant pitch classes. A neural beat may be synthesized for the digital audio file based on the beat frequency in the plurality of carrier frequencies. The neural beat may be stored and/or may be combined with the digital audio file to generate a combined audio track, which may be stored.
AUTOMATIC ISOLATION OF MULTIPLE INSTRUMENTS FROM MUSICAL MIXTURES
A system, method and computer product for training a neural network system. The method comprises inputting an audio signal to the system to generate plural outputs f(X, Θ). The audio signal includes one or more of vocal content and/or musical instrument content, and each output f(X, Θ) corresponds to a respective one of the different content types. The method also comprises comparing individual outputs f(X, Θ) of the neural network system to corresponding target signals. For each compared output f(X, Θ), at least one parameter of the system is adjusted to reduce a result of the comparing performed for the output f(X, Θ), to train the system to estimate the different content types. In one example embodiment, the system comprises a U-Net architecture. After training, the system can estimate various different types of vocal and/or instrument components of an audio signal, depending on which type of component(s) the system is trained to estimate.
