SELECTIVE TONE SHIFTING DEVICE
This invention is directed to a tone shifting device that includes an analog to digital (A/D) converter configured to receive an audio output from a musical instrument to convert it into a digital signal and to pass it to a computing unit; an input device configured to allow a player to select at least one note to be shifted in real time 10 during playing a musical instrument; a computing unit configured to receive the input signal from the A/D converter and a second input from the input device and to shift a selected note/s to a lower/higher tone in real time during playing; a digital to analog (D/A) converter configured to receive the signals from the computing unit and convert them to analog form; and an amplifier configured to receive the analog 15 signal from said D/A converted and play the played modified music through a loudspeaker of the amplifier. The tone shifting device allow selective shifting of a selected musical note in real time during playing.
Methods and apparatus for reducing stuttering
A feedback system may play back, to a user, an altered version of the user's voice in real time, in order to reduce stuttering by the user. The system may operate in different feedback modes at different times. For instance, the system may detect when the severity of a user's stuttering increases, which is indicative of the user habituating to the current feedback mode. The system may then switch to a different feedback mode. In some cases, the feedback modes include at least a Whisper mode, a Reverb mode, and a Harmony mode. In Whisper mode, the user's voice may be transformed to sound as if it were whispering in the user's ears. In Harmony mode, the user's voice may be altered as if the user were harmonizing with himself or herself. In Reverb mode, the user's voice may be altered so that it reverberates.
MIXED REALITY MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
A method is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of identifying a first real object in a mixed reality environment, the mixed reality environment having a user; identifying a second real object in the mixed reality environment; generating, in the mixed reality environment, a first virtual object corresponding to the second real object; identifying, in the mixed reality environment, a collision between the first real object and the first virtual object; determining a first attribute associated with the collision; determining, based on the first attribute, a first audio signal corresponding to the collision; and presenting to the user, via one or more speakers, the first audio signal.
MANIPULATOR FOR ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
A manipulator includes a light source that emits light; a rotatable member that is rotatable around an axis; and an operation member having a substantially disk shape, attached to the rotatable member so as to be rotatable together with the rotatable member, the operation member including a light guide member that guides light incident from the light source, and a wheel member arranged on one plate surface side of the light guide member, wherein the rotatable member has a holding portion that holds the light guide member.
MANIPULATOR FOR ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
A manipulator, comprises a light source that emits light; and an operation member rotationally operatable around an axis by a user, the operation member having a substantially disk shape and including a light guide member that guides light incident from the light source and emits the light to an outside in radical directions of the substantially disk shape from an outer peripheral portion thereof, and a reflecting member reflecting a portion of the light guided by the light guide member in a direction perpendicular to the radial directions at said outer peripheral portion.
SOUND SIGNAL SYNTHESIS METHOD, GENERATIVE MODEL TRAINING METHOD, SOUND SIGNAL SYNTHESIS SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A method generates first pitch data indicating a pitch of a first sound signal to be synthesized; and uses a generative model to estimate output data indicative of the first sound signal based on the generated first pitch data. The generative model has been trained to learn a relationship between second pitch data indicating a pitch of a second sound signal and the second sound signal. The first pitch data includes a first plurality of pieces of pitch notation data corresponding to pitch names, and is generated by setting, from among the first plurality of pieces of pitch notation data, a first piece of pitch notation data that corresponds to the pitch of the first sound signal as a hot value based on a difference between a reference pitch of a pitch name corresponding to the first piece of pitch notation data and the pitch of the first sound signal.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR ENABLING FLEXIBLE SOUND COMPOSITION UTILITIES
A computer system for enabling generation/controlling/modification of sound elements is provided. A computer program defines a sound engine. The sound engine includes or is linked to one or more musical composition interfaces that enable one or more users to access a music generator/controller/modifier utility (“music generator”), so as to graphically map one or more musical notes by tracing one or more Bezier paths defined that are processable by the music generator so as to define five fundamental note qualities: Tone, pitch, volume, applied effects and duration. The music generator enables user manipulation of the Bezier paths, including touch input modification of the paths (e.g. dragging, forming etc.) that modify fundamental qualities of the corresponding note.
Method and device for processing, playing and/or visualizing audio data, preferably based on AI, in particular decomposing and recombining of audio data in real-time
The present invention relates to a method for processing and playing audio data comprising the steps of receiving mixed input data and playing recombined output data. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for processing and playing audio data, preferably DJ equipment, comprising an audio input unit for receiving a mixed input signal, a recombination unit and a playing unit for playing recombined output data. In addition, the present invention relates to a method and a device for representing audio data, i.e. on a display.
Sound signal generation method, generative model training method, sound signal generation system, and recording medium
A computer-implemented sound signal generation method includes: obtaining a first sound source spectrum of a sound signal to be generated; obtaining a first spectral envelope of the sound signal; and estimating fragment data representative of samples of the sound signal based on the obtained first sound source spectrum and the obtained first spectral envelope.
Lane- and rhythm-based melody generation system
To generate a melody, one or more machine-readable constraints are accepted from a user through a user interface. The constraints include rhythm constraints and pitch constraints. A sequence of musical elements is generated based on the constraints, each of the musical elements specifying, in machine-readable data, a musical pitch or silence and a duration of the musical pitch or silence. The pitch constraints prescribe pitches in the sequence of musical elements and the rhythm constraints prescribe rhythm of the sequence of musical elements. The sequence of musical elements is rendered in human-perceivable form as a melody.
