Apparatus, system, and method for recording and rendering multimedia
An apparatus may be designed to enable a user to receive, record, display, edit, arrange, re-arrange, play, loop, extend, export and import audio and video data. The audio and video data to be organized as, for example, but not limited to, a song comprised of song parts. The song parts may be comprised of tracks, and each track may be comprised of one or more layers. The various methods and systems disclosed herein incorporate such data segmentation to enable the user to intuitively and hands-free record, arrange, and perform songs comprised of both sequential and parallel tracks. In this way, the looper may enable a musician to record and loop tracks for a song, arrange the tracks into song parts, and during the same session, transition the playback from one song part to another, all the while recording a track on top of the transitioning song parts.
Enhanced System, Method, and Devices for Capturing Inaudible Tones Associated with Content
One embodiment provides a system, method, and device for capturing inaudible tones from content. Content is received. Inaudible tones in the content are detected. Information associated with the inaudible tones of the content is extracted. Information associated with the inaudible tones is communicated to one or more devices. One or more actions associated with the information extracted from the inaudible tones is automatically implemented utilizing the one or more devices.
MUSICAL INSTRUMENT TUNING
A digital tuner that determines a tuning target period; receives an audio signal from an instrument to be tuned; obtains a plurality of different segments of the audio signal starting at times that correspond to integer multiples of the target period; produces waveform samples from the segments; and displays of a succession of waveform segments at same display position using said segments so that the shape of the waveform appears to move on the display at a speed and direction directly dependent on a difference of a wave period of the audio signal to be tuned and the tuning target period.
Lyrics analyzer
A lyrics analyzer generates tags and explicitness indicators for a set of tracks. These tags may indicate the genre, mood, occasion, or other features of each track. The lyrics analyzer does so by generating an n-dimensional vector relating to a set of topics extracted from the lyrics and then using those vectors to train a classifier to determine whether each tag applies to each track. The lyrics analyzer may also generate playlists for a user based on a single seed song by comparing the lyrics vector or the lyrics and acoustics vectors of the seed song to other songs to select songs that closely match the seed song. Such a playlist generator may also take into account the tags generated for each track.
SHORT SEGMENT GENERATION FOR USER ENGAGEMENT IN VOCAL CAPTURE APPLICATIONS
User interface techniques provide user vocalists with mechanisms for solo audiovisual capture and for seeding subsequent performances by other users (e.g., joiners). Audiovisual capture may be against a full-length work or seed spanning much or all of a pre-existing audio (or audiovisual) work and in some cases may mix, to seed further contributions of one or more joiners, a user's captured media content for at least some portions of the audio (or audiovisual) work. A short seed or short segment may span less than all (and in some cases, much less than all) of the audio (or audiovisual) work. For example, a verse, chorus, refrain, hook or other limited chunk of an audio (or audiovisual) work may constitute a short seed or short segment. Computational techniques are described that allow a system to automatically identify suitable short seeds or short segments. After audiovisual capture against the short seed or short segment, a resulting, solo or group, full-length or short-form performance may be posted, livestreamed, or otherwise disseminated in a social network.
Music selections for personal media compositions
In some implementations, a computing device can generate personalized music selections to associate with any collections of visual media (e.g., photos and videos) stored on the computing device. A user may prefer particular genres of music and listen to some genres more frequently than others. The computing device can create measures of the user's genre preferences and use these measures to select music that is preferred by the user and music that may be significant or relevant to the particular collection of visual media. The computing device may also determine music that was being played when and where the visual media were being created. The computing device may store the visual media and music items in association with each other. The computing device may generate composite media items that combine the visual media and music items. When the visual media are viewed, the selected music item is also played.

INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing device 11 including: a control data generation unit that inputs analysis data X that is to be processed, to a trained model that has learnt a relationship between analysis data X that represents a time series of musical notes, and control data Y for controlling movements of an object that represents a performer, thereby generating control data Y according to the analysis data X.
