SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND/OR METHODS FOR REAL-TIME ADAPTIVE MUSIC GENERATION
Disclosed herein are systems, apparatus, and/or methods for automatically generating in real-time an adaptive digital music stream that satisfies a particular scenario (either static or changing), as described by the dynamic input of an emotional vector (possibly with emotional direction/target), one or more musical styles and one or more musical themes, using an automated music composition, performance and audio production system based which utilizes machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
FLEXIBLE AND TACTILE PRESSURE SENSITIVE SWITCH SENSORS
Described herein is a flexible piezoresistive switch sensor responding only to a minimum threshold compression deformation force. The switch sensor comprises a non-porous housing that separates an external environment from an internal environment; one or more decoupled electrodes comprising or formed of a flexible conductor; a non conductive insulating spacer layer enforcing the one or more decoupled electrodes in bending or twisting forces, while allowing electrode coupling due to compression; a piezoresistive layer decoupled from the electrodes via the insulating spacer layer; and an elastomeric polymer layer comprising one or more buckling or spring elements configured to separate a minimum required compression force on the piezoresistive layer and the non-conductive insulating layer.
Systems and Methods for Providing Virtual Reality Musical Experiences
Systems and methods for virtual reality musical experiences are disclosed herein. An example method includes generating a virtual reality avatar of a musician and a virtual reality guitar, receiving input from a first controller that is indicative of a neck hand position of the first controller relative to a virtual neck of the virtual reality guitar, as well as input from a second controller that is indicative of a strumming hand movement performed using the second controller, adjusting a neck hand position of the virtual reality avatar, within a virtual reality display, in response to the neck hand position of the first controller in real-time and a strumming hand action of the virtual reality avatar, within the virtual reality display, in response to the strumming hand action of the second controller in real-time.
Music game software and input device utilizing a video player
A video game includes an audio-video stream combined with game graphics and game sounds. The game graphics are overlaid on the video stream and updated in synchronization with the stream. Update of the game graphics and sounds depends on inputs received from a game player. The game player may provide input using a game controller coupled to the video game by an adapter. The video game may play on a Blu-ray player.
APPLICATION DIRECTED LATENCY CONTROL FOR WIRELESS AUDIO STREAMING
In general, various aspects of techniques are described to enable application directed latency control for wireless audio streaming. A source device comprising a memory and a processor may perform the techniques. The memory may store at least a portion of audio data. The processor may execute an application that outputs the audio data, and a request for a quality of service concerning audio processing applied to the audio data. The processor may determine whether the source device is currently displaying the application, and configure, responsive to the determination that the source device is currently displaying the application, a wireless audio processing path to achieve the requested quality of service. The processor may next process, by the wireless audio processing path, the audio data to obtain a bitstream representative of the audio data.
Cyber reality device including gaming based on a plurality of musical programs
A system enabling the performance of sensory stimulating content including music and video using gaming in a cyber reality environment, such as using a virtual reality headset. This disclosure includes a system and method through which a performer can virtually trigger and control a presentation of pre-packaged sensory stimulating content including musical programs through gaming. A theme for the performer is that the pre-packaged sensory stimulating content is preferably chosen such that, even where the performer is a novice, the sensory stimulating data is presented in a pleasing and sympathetic manner and scoring is provided as a function of the performer's ability to provide a gesture in association with a displayed virtual trigger.
Latency enhanced note recognition method in gaming
The present invention relates to the field of audio recognition, in particular to computer implemented note recognition methods in a gaming application. Furthermore, the present invention relates to improving latency of such audio recognition methods. One of the embodiments of the invention described herein is a method for note recognition of an audio source. The method includes: dividing an audio input into a plurality of frames, each frame having a pre-determined length, conducting a frequency analysis of at least a set of the plurality of frames, based on the frequency analysis, determining if a frame is a transient frame with a frequency change between the beginning and end of the frame, comparing the frequency analysis of each said transient frame to the frequency analysis of an immediately preceding frame and, based on said comparison, determining at least one probable pitch present at the end of each transient frame, and for each transient frame, outputting pitch data indicative of the probable pitch present at the end of the transient frame.
MUSIC VIDEO GAME WITH USER DIRECTED SOUND GENERATION
A music based video game provides a user directed sound generation feature. In some embodiments, the user is provided a video game controller simulating a musical instrument, which the user may operate similarly to its real musical instrument counterpart. A free play feature is provided for users to operate the video game controller, where a processor of a video game console receives input signals from the video game controller and outputs audio samples based on the received input signals. During the free play feature, multiple suggestions as to how to operate the video game controller are simultaneously provided to give users some guidance as to what to play using the video game controller.
MIXING COMPLEX MULTIMEDIA DATA USING TEMPO MAPPING TOOLS
The teachings described herein are generally directed to a system, method, and apparatus for separating and mixing tracks within music. The system can have a video that is synchronized with the variations in the musical tempo through a variable timing reference track designed and provided for a user of the preselected performance that was prerecorded, wherein the designing of the variable timing reference track includes creating a tempo map having variable tempos, rhythms, and beats using notes from the preselected performance.
MUSIC GAME APPARATUS AND METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING PROGRAM THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a music game apparatus and a recording medium therefor and, more specifically, provides an operation guide note consisting of a start note, a cadence note, and a path indicated line connecting the same, and determines the success of the operation of a corresponding note only by the time interval and direction of moving the operation along the path indicated line, thereby enabling the playing of a game in accordance with a tempo of a music, and improving the interest for the game.
